The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit.
This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China.
We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La.
Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La.
We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La.
Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition.
Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there.
However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special.
As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people.
Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business.
For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage.
All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team.
Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager.
This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible.
Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure.
No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La.
