The room facilities are relatively new, and the hardware is great. The service is also very good, definitely in the first echelon in Tianjin. The gym and swimming pool are OK, the public area is large, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The lounge is very happy. The hotel is conveniently located. Three minutes from the metro station (4 branches). Very friendly staff at the reception. We even checked in two hours ahead of the official check-in time. After learning that it was my birthday, the hotel staff brought us fruits to the room. The room itself is cozy and clean. One of the disadvantages is that it is very cold in the bathroom, which has windows facing the street. Well, the pool on the minus ground floor is tiny. As for breakfast, it's good and satisfying. Overall, it's good. But not exactly ”five stars”, in my usual sense.

Travel back in time Booking the Victoria room in the museum wing was the best decision and the best offer money wise (compared with the same retro hotels in Hongkong, for example, where room rate may start from 3000 yuan) The atmosphere was truly vintage, the decor and furniture, accessories and overall aesthetic was astonishing. The room was equipped with anything one may imagine, including a capsule coffee machine. High ceilings, cozy rooms, balcony and authentic wooden door and original parquet. The bed itself was out of a fairy tale, with the four stands and canopy. The service was outstanding The package contained even a brief photo session, while the make up was performed by the artist in the full version The location is excellent except it was not easy to find any restaurants close-by. Breakfast was great, including milky oatmeal and perfect coffee. Historical museum in the basement floor is providing essential and interesting information about the Hotel’s history, must visit. The most fabulous part of the hotel complex is the historic wing, with the former lobby, O’hara bar , the oldest elevator in China installed by OTIS, and suits upstairs.

Nice hotel. The location was good, with nice buildings around. Plenty of facilities like the swim pool, spa, the gym, etc. The rooms were clean and comfy. Would visit there again. I really enjoyed the pool it was the perfect temperature and you could watch a tv show while you are on the treadmill in the gym. The stay here is tremendously amazing! Every staff is professional, polite and helpful. The ambient is quite sweet and inviting. My Butler Vivian, super service-minded and detail-oriented, did a great job and brought my St Regis experience to a new level. She contacted me even one day before my arrival. I would definately revisit St Regis and would love recommed it to my friends who want a truly luxurious stay!

Overall we had a lovely stay here. The location is great, and the rooms and reception area were beautifully decorated. The pool and gym were amazing (best hotel gym I've ever seen!), and never very busy. Staff were friendly and polite. And there was never a queue for the lifts. There were a few niggles which I'll list below for other people who appreciate these types of details, but they were by no means deal breakers. Niggles included: - we always had a long wait at reception to be served - the deposit is large (almost the price of the stay again) - no plugs on one side of the bed so you can't charge your phone next to you - the minibar wasn't very cold - no takeout delivery to rooms (usually this is done by robot) - beds are very soft which might give some people backache - our toilet cistern kept running (we fixed it ourselves every time) - the shower leaked - the blinds over the windows are all or nothing, there are no curtains that you can just pull over part of the window - the swimming pool is very shallow at just 1.2 metres with no deep end - this made swimming difficult for both of us as we're on the taller side - you must sign a declaration before every swim/workout (I think once per customer would be enough!) and wear a swimming cap in the pool (the hotel sells them).

In my view, Ritz Tianjin is the branch with the highest service level. ( i visited Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing financial street and Beijing Huamao centre so far) 1. 3 days before arrival - The branch called me to confirm the number of visitors (couple + 7 month old); and the purpose of visit (wedding anniversary) 2. Upon arrival - We were greeted by friendly staffs whom helped us with our 3 luggages and they did it with a smile 3 Miss Freya Luo lead us to the check in and was explaining the restaurants and facilities of the branch 4. During stay, our garbage and room was cleaned up no less than 2 times a day (we only stayed 2 days) 5. Miss Freya, also helped us to arrange parcels (mainly infant diapers and napkins) to be sent to the hotel 6. The exterior of the hotel resembles a castle and its truly special The hotel is merely a room; the service provided by each of the staffs here makes this experience truly memorable Thanks again Freya!

This hotel did not live up to our expectations for a 5 star hotel. When we came to our room there was only one double bed even though we were 4 people and had booked a room with two double beds. After some time we realised they “upgraded” us to a bigger suite, but in that suite only one double bed was possible. Why would they do this without consulting us? This took us unnecessary time and effort to get this fixed and swapped back to the room we actually had booked. The hotel is fine, but lacks detail: the bathroom doors didn’t close properly, I found at least 5 intimate hairs that didn’t belong to our family, the light switches are super annoying, they sometimes doesn’t work and you can’t really decide by yourself what lights you want on/off. The breakfast was a disappointment - a lot of the stuff was almost empty, it was messy, many tables didn’t get cleared right away, and both mornings we had to wait to be seated. I didn’t expect this from Four Seasons. We appreciated the robes for our kids, the pool, the vallet staff, the showers.

a famous brand with certain confidence in the quality. not bad to ride share-bike to the hotel from public transport stops. booked the package with seafood buffet hotpot dinner, which was good as expected with unlimited hairy crabs, beer & wine provided. the night view of my room of the river was excellent.
