Tianjin Bohai Building Hotel (Tianjin Station Binjiang Road Pedestrian Street)

It's quite standard. For an old hotel, it's a sign of great care to maintain such a standard. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken during check-in. I live on the sixth floor, so going up and down was quite a hassle...

I booked this hotel on the spur of the moment while on the high-speed train to Tianjin. Since it was my first time in Tianjin, I had no idea about the location, so I simply compared a few hotels online and booked this one. But to my surprise, it's right on the main street of Heping Road Commercial Street, in the heart of the business district. Metro Line 3 is right outside, making it a much cheaper and quicker way to get to more distant attractions than taking a taxi. I walked to every attraction a little over a kilometer from the hotel, and it takes just over 20 minutes to walk to Wudadao and Italian Street. The hotel building itself is also quite historic. While not as stylish as a modern hotel, the decor is vintage, the prices are very reasonable, and there's even a grocery store on the ground floor with a huge selection of snacks, yogurt, and drinks!

The price/performance ratio is high, and the service attitude is great. It's really a treasure (〃'▽'〃). It's close to the commercial street and very convenient to every tourist attraction. Great!

The room is well decorated, the service is attentive and humane, the location is good and convenient, the price is not high and very affordable.

My first visit to Tianjin was a pleasant surprise. It's a truly walkable city, brimming with historical sites, former residences of famous figures, and even crosstalk parlors. I saw this hotel on Ctrip, and I wasn't disappointed. It boasts a rich history, having been the site of the Red Flag hoist during Tianjin's liberation. The decor is beautiful, the rooms comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. The separate wet and dry areas are especially impressive, surpassing many other hotels. Not only is there no odor, but there's also a refined fragrance. The hotel is newly renovated, and all the amenities are brand new, including disposable toilet seats and even hair conditioner. They also have disposable slippers, and the bathroom flooring is non-slip. So much attention to detail and thoughtful considerations. Even though it's located on Heping Road Pedestrian Street, it's quiet at night. Surrounded by major shopping districts and pedestrian streets, it caters to every need for dining, accommodation, travel, shopping, and entertainment. Transportation is super convenient, with Line 3 subway station right outside, and buses within walking distance, making it close to all the attractions. This hidden gem of a city is full of hipster charm, a relaxed, slow-paced atmosphere—you'll fall in love with it once you visit. I will come again next time and stay at Bohai Building Hotel.

The 90-year-old cultural relic hotel is the perfect place to stay in the tallest building in Tianjin during the Republican era. The time-travel experience is truly amazing. The location is excellent, and the Jade Beauty at the entrance is breathtakingly beautiful.
