Tianjin Hedong District 4-star Hotels

While the hotel was clean and had all the amenities one would expect, and is in a good location right across the street from a metro station, it was very disorganized. At first when I checked in, they assigned us a room which was already occupied, so that had to be fixed. The next day our key card didn't work and the hotel had to unlock the door for us. The other big issue was that the air conditioning was basically non-existent. According to the hotel the building uses central ventilation, so it's not very effective, which resulted in the room being too hot to sleep in both nights. I cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location, with a large parking lot. It is a few minutes' walk from Metro Line 4. There is Wanda Plaza next to it, and opposite Aegean Sea and Red Star Macalline. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. I have stayed at Hampton by Hilton many times in other cities and the experience was very good, so I still choose it this time. When checking in, the lady at the front desk made an upgrade directly. The room is very clean, the mattress is of good quality, moderately soft and hard, and very comfortable to sleep on. The hot water in the shower comes out very quickly and the shower room is relatively large. The hotel's breakfast restaurant is small in size, but has a rich variety and the taste is commendable👍

The main entrance to the hotel is to walk into the hotel parking lot. The overall environment inside and outside the new hotel is very clean. Personally, I feel like I feel very good about staying here! I stayed here because I liked the newly opened one. The toilet and bathroom are separated. Unfortunately, there is only one door for the toilet and bathroom. It would be very embarrassing if one takes a shower and the other goes to the toilet. The hotel is very smart! Next time I come to Tianjin, I will choose Wyndham👍 Also, it is not recommended to bring up (moban) this matter which will affect the guest’s good impression of the hotel.

The front desk staff made our stay a beautiful one great location as well and everything was clean

Love this hotel it is the most interesting and grand step back in time in Tianjin .. museum and O’Hara bar are fantastic.. always my first choice to stay here

The accommodation at Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua city met all the standards. The staff were friendly and spoke English. They made our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were always clean and service was great. The location was really good you were able to access Aqua city mall via the hotel at the restaurant level. There was also L+ mall across the road. The subway was 100m away and getting around the city was easy. The only think I could fault them on was that I booked a room with the street view at the top level and instead I got the top level with no street view. However the stay was great.

Westin hotel facilities, service angel quality, and some business hotels are very different. A wide variety of breakfasts, new room facilities, comfortable beds, and overall excellent value for money was a very satisfying experience. Extra bed available, parking at the door, close to several subway stations, 7 or 8 minutes walk.

St Regis lived up to it's reputation for service that goes above and beyond.....we had a problem upon arrival -:the fridge was missing. abd the spa wasn't working. This was disappointing as it was one of tbe reasons we had booked that hotel. Not only did they rectify the fridge within an hour/( minutes?), they also sent up a lovely tray with local treats and they offered us breakfast on the house. We could n't get the spa experience, but felt the manager, Frank, did his very best to make our visit special, and we were so appreciative. We would definitely book again, but know to check a few things beforehand in case the website is not up to date. At any rate, StRegis stands by its service and the manager was excellent. Kudos to Frank Wang!

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

I have expected a lot from this hotel but unfortunately I got disappointed here: Fist of all the check-in process needed about 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and said I should take a seat first - only problem: there are just a few seats in the lobby. Many people had to stay and wait => the process was very slow which was very annoying to me and to other guests. This is the first five star hotel where I did not enter the gym. Reason: Very small gym and not much equipment. The gym and the pool are in the basement floor => the pool is very small too and the whole feeling in a basement floor is not convenient for me - I was here dissatisfied as well. The room was clean - as expected. The breakfast was disappointment too: the selection is good BUT the rice was hard, the pancakes inside still wet, the waffles too hard, baked stuff no taste at all. I went to another restaurant nearby fafterwards => the PRICE VALUE RATIO is NOT GOOD for the Ritz Hotel in Tianjin - I will not come back again. But I gave it a chance & the staff is really friendly...
