Hotel Alpha Thun

Except for the bed, which is a small bed, the bathroom is well hidden and the overall size is relatively small. However, the hotel is in an excellent location, on the side of the road but not very noisy. When you walk out, there is a lake in front of you, so you can see the scenery of the lake and mountains.

Absolutely not recommended. No hotel parking spaces - parking garage closed - public parking opposite for the beach - almost impossible to get a parking space as it was very full - no help from the hotel - just a shrug of the shoulders - very unfriendly staff - check-in only from 3 p.m. - strangely enough, it was earlier for others - room in the attic at 30 degrees - no air conditioning - TV remote control missing - none was provided even after asking - only the claim that it would be checked before moving in - so are we accused of theft? Skylight moldy - full of cobwebs - was not removed after being told - skylight cannot be opened... window facing the main road - noisy as hell - then left a day early as it was impossible to sleep - bathroom with sloping roof - couldn't see ourselves in the mirror - disgusting faucet - breakfast not balanced - healthy breakfast not possible - you have to cook eggs yourself - coffee and tea only with service - no second cup either - poor value for money - never again this hotel

I wasn't expecting much but it's outrageous even considering it's cheap. I didn't have many expectations but the room wasn't clean and neither was the shared shower. It was musty in the room and there were cobwebs by the window. There was hair in the shared shower (not my own) It's bearable for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer. I don't know anything about breakfast, I didn't use it.
