Baros Maldives

We stayed for a few days at Baros Maldives. It really was a heavenly holiday ☺️ The Resort has an excellent territory with individual villas, excellent access to the ocean, which has a wonderful underwater world with fish and beautiful corals. The service and food in Baros is excellent, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Madina always helped us a lot and solved all the issues when we turned to her, she is very kind and always ready to help, thank you very much ! I'm looking forward to the next vacation so I can return to Baros Maldives❤️!

We had an amazing stay at Baros! This place is an absolute gem. Everything was just perfect. The room was gorgeous, and the beach is just beyond belief. The amenities (restaurants, gym, SPA) are in pristine condition. The food is great at Lime and at Cayenne Grill, but we did not taste the Lighthouse restaurant. Two very important aspects : housekeeping is very well done and we were assigned the same person during all our stay so all the details were carefully taken care of. Transfer from the airport and back was super quick in a beautiful air conditionned boat with wifi (like everywhere else on the island). The most important is the staff. Always relax and attentive at the same time. Discreet but always available. Thank you, Nasssim, Oscar, Abdalla and especially Reema for this stay that was beyond remarkable for this very special occasion!

Most of the 5star Maldivian resorts involves a seaplane ride from Male but Baros, a luxury institution that existed since 1973, is but a 20min boat ride away. The 5star resort 'hardware' is faultless but the true measure of an iconic Maldivian resort stems from excellence in its 'software'. From the pre-boarding experience in my last minute reservation made possible by Irish, to the first to last mile butler care given by Rifaau, and everything else in between rendered by - Staff nurse Anil who took care of my minor injury with professionalism and empathy. - Limes staff Abdullah, Macy, Fakhriya, Kayla and the chefs behind the scene who hosted and curated every meal with warmth and interesting conversations. -Lighthouse staff Dayu who hosted us on the most amazing sunset, canapés and cocktail. -Beach bar Sukma who attended to us with the most unwavering of smiles and conversation each visit. Thank you, excellent job to all, and looking forward to revisit the dependable Baros clockwork that has put Malvidian hospitality on the world map for the last 51 years.

It was really nice time in Baros. I had stayed 5days at there and it was really fantastic experience for me and my wife. First of all, hope to say special thanks to romantic bottler "Anas". He helped us a lot very kindly, and other members also very kind for us. During my travel, weather was not so good except last day, but we had full care from Baros, even it was not include my package. Special dinner at private room, morning pool breakfast, movie night by "Anas" bottler's kind consideration about bad whether, etc Facilities also quite grace and have good interior. Nature evironment also can not saying anymore. Natural resolt have very good point of snockeling and marin animals also welcoming to us in sea. I think it is good point of island which made naturally. Last day, I had chance to learn about snockeling from "Sugar", it was my first time but very easy to learn due to nice teaching of her. Bartender "Chandu" also very kind. He always saying hello with my mother language Korean. I guess all Baros member including "Chandu" knew how to get close with customer and how customer feel friendly with them. It also very impressed memory for me. And Baros cares about my final way to check in airplane. Other resort usually just pick up people from their island to Male airport, but Baros was special. Helper "Zayan" carried all bagages from ship to airplane even the final check in area. It also moved my mind. Even whether was not good during trip, we could make very good and happy memories at Baros and if have chance again, hopefully directly choose Baros again without any hesitate. Thanks for all to have good memories.

Baros exceeded all expectations. We were greeted warmly by every single staff member, and honestly felt like royalty. Though we were only able to stay for 2 nights and 3 days, Anas made sure that we had a most unforgettable experience. It was a stop on our first year anniversary trip, something that we only quietly mentioned to our greeting staff when we arrived. Anas took that ball and ran with it, arranging for a private table on the beach for dinner, surprising us with a bottle of champagne and flowers in our room, and making us feel genuinely at home and cared for. The resort is lovely. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The snorkeling off of the house reef is the best we have ever done - no need to take a boat trip! We will absolutely recommend this resort to anyone who asks. The service that Anas and his colleagues provided was first class and made the beautiful setting even that much more luxurious. We can’t wait to come back!

Our 5th visit to Baros and just as wonderful as ever. Most islands are beautiful - but what makes Baros stand out is the staff. To a person they were simply wonderful. Unbelievably helpful, kind and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. In particular our butler Anas was incredible. Beyond expectation. But everyone we came across were brilliant - particularly with my wife who was in a wheelchair. The newly refurbished villas are exceptional as is the food in the Lighthouse restaurant - whilst the other restaurants Cayenne and Lime are very good. We look forward to our next trip.
