The Joys Palace is located centrally in Thrissur at Sakthan, right next to the bus station. The biggest attractions of Thrissur, Sree Vadakkumnathan Temple and Paramekkavu Bhagavathi Temple, are about 2.5 km away. Public transport is easily available round the clock. The hotel is housed in a large compound and there is no shortage of parking places. The building is quite old but nicely maintained. The reception and lounge areas are sufficiently large but can get crowded when some seminars or walk-ins are taking place. The front desk staff are very efficient, helpful and courteous. They try to meet your smallest of requirements. We had requested for an additional bed while booking and the bed was already in place by the time we checked in. The rooms in this hotel are larger than average and are well furnished. The bathrooms are functional and good quality toiletries are provided. The buffet breakfast and dinner are available at the restaurant. The food is above average and there is a wide variety of foods available. The check out is also fast and hassle free. The staff is very dedicated, helpful and friendly. Overall, probably the best hotel in Thrissur.

Had housed guests who had arrived for my daughter's wedding in Arattupuzha in 40 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms were spacious and the service splendid. All my guests went back having enjoyed great hospitality. The hotel is ideally located at the center of Thrissur town. The food served was also excellent. Special shout out to Mithula & Siby at the front desk who took care our guests. The hotel management was very supportive to our needs too. All in all a very satisfying experience and I would strongly recommend the hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in Thrissur or house their guests. Dinesh Nair

Very prompt service by CIBI AND HIS TEAM . The bed was good & pillows were good . The Decor was good . And BF was good . All service were prompt . The hotel car service and their driver Vaiju was very good . In all a comfortable stay . The air conditioning was good .

It was a Great experience. The staff is very friendly and caring. The Service especially housekeeping is very prompt. Food was quite good, especially the Kerala spread for Lunch. One of the most important point is that it’s very close to the city centre as well as the railway station.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and a fantastic breakfast selection. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. However, there were a few drawbacks. The WiFi was unreliable, and some electrical outlets in the room didn’t work. Additionally, there seemed to be occasional miscommunication between the front desk and dining service, and the absence of a safety deposit box in the room was inconvenient. Overall, despite these minor issues, my experience was positive, and I would happily stay here again.
