Obviously, its location is its main benefit. Got a room with 2 queen sized beds, room smelled clean upon entering, air conditioner running on energy saver so was nice and cool upon arrival which was good after a warm summer day driving. Room had a Keurig coffee machine and a refrigerator. Bed sheets and towels appeared clean. One odd thing though was that the door of the room isn't a door it's a sliding glass patio door with a key lock and a curtain, a first for me I've never seen before at a motel. The curtain needed to be twice as thick though because car headlights could shine brightly through which was disruptive and because around sunrise the light shone into the room a bunch and woke me up at the crack of dawn. Lastly in all the postings and even the receipt for my room it states that breakfast is included. but there's no breakfast included, and I wasn't informed about it until I checked in. For me it's not about the breakfast it's about the honesty in what your advertised and paid for. If there's no breakfast offered, then don't put it in your descriptions

A pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and eager to assist. The hotel has recently changed management and are keen to address and fix any outstanding issues. Breakfast was no longer available. Good views. Restaurants were a short car ride away.

DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to be bitten by bed bugs. We stayed here and I got bitten by them which caused me to get hives and itchy bumps to deal with for a few days. It ruined my experience coming here, my family and I barely got any sleep due to the bugs. The owner didn't even ask us for pictures, he definitely knew. I scrolled and saw past reviews also talking about the bed bugs, they are clearly ignorant and have not resolved the issue. Owner was also ignorant saying he can make it up by calling AAA if we got stuck on the way back home.... nobody wants your insurance, we want a CLEAN and SAFE place to sleep.

Take the negative reviews seriously. I have never posted a review before of a hotel--but this one was not one I would ever stay in. You can tell as soon as you drive up. And once you open the door to your room, the smells and general upkeep are awful. I went back to the office and asked for a refund--all the grounds are also in disrepair. They refused--do not make any reservation here. You will regret it! I left and did not stay.

Waited 15 min at the front desk to check in, no one was there, rang bell. They gave me a room and told me the lamps didn’t work. I turned the tv on and it didn’t work. It did have a loud AC u kit so at least I could cool off. Breakfast was coffee and individual wrapped off brand muffins and oatmeal.

I got here at noon and it was closed. After 3pm still nobody. No other guests either. I called them and nobody answered. Nevertheless, they charged my credit card. I showed Booking videos of me visiting the hotel and they returned my money, not the hotel.

I booked this room not expecting a lot. What I did expect was an older place that probably was a bit dated yet clean. I only need somewhere to lay my head. But…..what I got was a rundown room that needs MAJOR repairs. * The floor was literally squishy as it it was wet underneath. There were certain spots that almost felt like it was about to fall in. Or possibly the sub flooring underneath was swollen from water damage. Many areas were like this. * We had one wash cloth for our two night visit for two people. When we asked for more the response we got was that the washing machine was broken. No sorry no nothing. Basically they couldn’t help us. And the hand towel that we did get as well as the bath mat had dark stains on them. They were gross. * The window blinds were missing pieces which meant even when the blinds were closed there were gaps and we couldn’t even close the windows the entire way. The light from outside was EXTREMELY bright at night and it was difficult to sleep. * The air condition unit was a window unit that was old and didn’t work properly. We were so hot. And it was right above the bed. Very strange location to have it above our heads. * The room was rather large and the tv was mounted above the fire place but it was so small it was hard to see from the couch. It was oddly small for the room. * The floors were filthy dirty. Our socks were BLACK after a few minutes of walking around. Very gross. * The breakfast was not appetizing. The oatmeal packet that I grabbed had hard clumps and felt like it was several years old. I didn’t eat it. I wouldn’t eat the cereal or even try it because the milk was a gallon just sitting on the counter all morning. Not even in the Refrigerator. I did try the coffee one morning but it was gross and burnt. * Walls we’re so paper thin that the people next door were talking in a normal voice and we could hear them clearly. * On a side note. The place is so old and outdated that the rooms were marked with a sharpee. We had room H written by a sharpie. Can you get any more tacky? This has potential due to being in a beautiful location and so close to the Sequoia National Park. But it needs serious updates. I do not recommend.
