Property Description
Enjoy a stay on our 380 acre private ranch that shares a property line with Sequoia National Park. The ranch is located just minutes away from the park entrance! The ranch has plenty of private outdoor space to explore including over a mile of the Kaweah River, one of the only deep water swimming areas around, ponds, and a 60ft waterfall. Our property is great for the hiking, bird watching, swimming, or fishing enthusiast! A map of the land and its features will be provided upon arrival. The Cabin: The cabin features a cozy and inviting interior, with plenty of natural light and rustic charm. A fifth sleeping arrangement is available via a fold-down futon, best for a child or small adult (dimensions: 66.1" length x 39.4" width). New for Summer of 2025, upgraded appliances including a stove, dishwasher, and microwave have been added to the kitchen. A new couch has been added to the living room and the bedding and towels are new as well. After a day of hiking amongst the redwoods, unwind in the comfortable living area, or enjoy a quiet evening out and relax on the new patio furniture. Enjoy the view of the mountains over a glass of wine by the firepit and keep your eyes peeled for any of the surrounding wildlife. Guest Access: You will have access to this private cabin and the 380 acres of private land shared only between our 5 cabins. As a guest of the ranch, we will provide you with directions to the cabin ahead of your stay. We recommend downloading Google map directions ahead of time due to AT&T being the only cellular service available. The cabins do have complimentary Wi-Fi for use during your stay. With an hour or more of notice our co-host, Kori, can meet you at the ranch entrance to answer any questions or help point you in the direction of your cabin. Other Things to Note: The ranch is made up of 380 acres of private land reserved for use by only our cabin guests (5 total cabins). Cabins are located on unpaved roads within the ranch property. There is Wi-Fi in the cabin with cellular service available (AT&T only). We hope you encounter some of the amazing wildlife during your stay, we ask that you please keep all food contained within the cabin. Although the ranch shares a property line with Sequoia National Park, the gates are about a 15-minute drive away. Be sure to reference the trail map for our favorite hikes within the private ranch and suggestions for other loved trails within the national park. During your park visit you can expect to see some of the world’s largest trees and maybe even some of the native wildlife. We have plenty of other recommendations we can’t wait to share including dining, grocers, activities, and other entertainment near Three Rivers. All photos of the landscape are photos from the private guest ranch. Great cabin Great cabin and location. I greatly appreciate that they recognized and fixed prior to our arrival an issue with the hot water heater, as well as escorting us to the cabin. We would not have found it in the dark. Thank you. Will stay again when the opportunity presents itself.

Wonderful Stay This place was perfect. The cabin was as advertised. The property itself was amazing. Two minute walk to the beautiful river. Maybe a 10-15 minute drive to the gates of Sequoia Park. I went fishing at the river both mornings of our stay and caught 3 species of fish in less than two hours of fishing. Communication from property manager was excellent. Hoping to come back soon.

Beautiful Place and Property! The Sequoia Mountain View Cabin was perfect for us! Kori was an absolutely wonderful host from all the lovely suggestions to answering any questions we had. Cabin was only about 20 min to SNP entrance and had two amazing swimming holes to enjoy after hiking all day. We were able to completely unplug and enjoy the breath taking surroundings. Would definitely return!

Clean but needs maintenance I really struggled between 3 and 4 stars, but the cabin really needs maintenance. It may have been more noticeable since we were visiting during a summer heat wave, and spent more time in the cabin than we had planned on. I agree with the positive reviews of the owner/manager, grounds/amenities, and cleanliness of the cabin. The views are great. We loved the watering hole and the swing out back, and saw lots of animals during our stay. Wifi covered our phone needs since there was no cell service. Some maintenance issues have been shared in other reviews, like excessively noisy bed, very loud AC (two don’t work well), broken window shades and window screens. Additionally, we found the hot water heater was set much too hot. There were more broken lightbulbs than working lights. The wardrobe in the bathroom was broken, and we had one towel rod for three people. In the kitchen, the microwave handle was broken, and one of the cabinets had a handle hanging by one screw. There were lots of pots but no frying pan. Outside, the furniture had heavily damaged and dirty cushions. We did enjoy our stay even with all the quirks of the cabin. Nothing warranted us reaching out during our stay (cooking pancakes in a pot makes for a good story). It just wasn’t what we expected.

Amazing view, comfortable cabin We had a good stay, the view is by far the best feature, loved waking up and having breakfast in the porch looking at the mountains around us. Cabin is comfortable, bed might be a bit too noisy for a light sleeper, but reason for not giving 5 stars is that we found several pans/pots very dirty. I do appreciate they gave us a brand new sponge (not everyone does that). Host was responsive and accommodating even with a very late check-in time!

Perfect place to stay for visiting Sequoia National Park Great location just outside of Sequoia National Park. Peaceful, quiet, and close to nature. I would recommend it for anyone interested in unplugging and exploring Sequoia for a few days.
