Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Harvey / Chicago Southland

I came into town thinking this place was going to be nice. In town for a funeral and it was un speakable. My mother said if I have nothing nice to say about it. I stayed on night because tired after a long flight and a funeral I attended the day before. No microwave or fridge. Room dirty ,doors didn't lock, people live there. Ok still waiting on refund.

They didn’t have any towels in the room I called they told me they didn’t have none then told me I check out at 11 so they wouldn’t give me anything. Then after telling me I been there a few days when I had just checked in the night before they finally gave me some towels . They do not have breakfast so that was a lie the tv didn’t work or have any buttons. Just not a place I’ll recommend.

The website stated they had a pool and hot tub, vending machines, and free breakfast. They did not have any of these things. The whole hotel smelled like pee. The rooms were trashy and dilapidated, with faulty outlets. Sign in bathroom said the shower steam would set off the smoke alarm and that we would be charged $250 for the alarm going off, so no showers. Which didn’t matter because the shower was also broken. Our second night they knocked on our door at 2:16 AM waking us up to “check vacant rooms.” There was also no phone, tv didn’t work, and there was a coffee maker but no coffee pot.

$99 for one night is wayyyy to high for a place like this. It was INCREDIBLY DINGY and OUTDATED. They didn’t provide the rooms with bedding for the pullout couch which was covered in dust, nor were there even towels to wash up. They need to tear this building down and start over. So many people walked out requesting refunds. Disgusting. Would not recommend

Don’t recommend the room looked ok but we saw bugs random stuff on the carpet bed wasn’t comfortable looking and the hotel itself just ain’t give me the satisfaction of a clean hotel ended up leaving in the middle of the night and stayed somewhere else and checked out in the morning

It was roach infested and overall just nasty. Not worth the amount of money they charge.

We did not stay. When we check thebrooms roaches was on the bed and in the bathroom. Automatic turn around
