Ok, so a fair amount of bad reviews, however from what I saw a lot have been addressed, there are wires that can be seen in the communal areas, however the room I was in was neat and tidy, ample plugs and a TV. I did have to request a kettle which was resolved easily, clean linen, ensuite was small but functional except the lock (not that fussed by that). Main criticism would be that they need better pillows. Reception were helpful with booking me in. Was a functional place to get my head down for the night on a work trip.

Where to start with this so called b&b. First of all there was no breakfast being offered in the mornings. I am disabled and they wanted to put me on the 1st floor. I insisted on a ground floor room but because it was 'en-suite' where it smelt damp, the shower head had all limescale blocking the holes. I also had to pay an extra £10 pernight for the privilege. There was a leak just outside my room where a bucket was catching the water. I even had to bring in my own luggage with me using my walking stick, help was not even offered. I didn't feel safe, I locked my door and kept the key in the door. The TV was so high on the wall I had constant neck pain looking at it. There was also damp mould on the ceiling and down the wall and also rat poison in a box by the bed. Absolutely awful place. I will not be returning.

Honestly, from the outside it looks a bit dodgy but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. Shouldn’t have. Absolutely vile! don’t think its ever been cleaned in its life. Open wires and water buckets in the hallway, open wires in our bedroom. Got to the room, sat on the bed, immediately sank to the floor. Only thing that was maybe clean was the bedsheets, but they weren’t put on properly so the end if the duvet was poking out with what looked like blood on it 👍🏻👍🏻. Only one sad pillow each. And now we’re getting to the worst bit.. USED CONDOMS were shoved under the sink. I can only assume from the lack of bins in the room so maybe they should invest. But then i guess they’d have to empty them and i think they’re opposed to cleaning in general. Overall -1000/10. Staff who let us in was okay but that was about it.

Avoid this place under all circumstances. Staff will pretend to be owners. They also claim to work solo but you can hear them being coached in the background. They can’t answer basic questions about establishment policies. Staff are extremely rude and will scream down the phone if you keep calling because they will only answer one question and will then hang up the phone. This establishment appears to have no respect for women and is hostile and a toxic environment. Avoid at all costs

Where to start; this hotel had been the worst hotel ever been. So much humidity and dirt that the day I checked out had to go to the hospital because developed chest infection. This hotel is a nightmare

I stayed here with my aunt as we were at a gig at Brixton academy and wanted somewhere cheap to stay for the night with how late the gig would finish and the long drive back up to Cheshire. Not much I can say about the facilities the hotel offers as we arrived checked in and went out pretty much before returning, sleeping then leaving in the morning. We were situated on the 3rd floor and the night was like a comedy sketch as i forgot about the low ceiling and banged my head 🤣 nothing the hotel can do but I bet it would have given them a laugh as me and my aunt found it amusing. The room was nice and clean as was the bathroom and the chaps on reception, we spoke to two as we must have got them after the shift ended and they were very well mannered and one helped guide me to some on street parking after the gig as the on site parking was full, this was lovely as he didn't have to do that. I can't comment if there was breakfast or anything available but for the just short of 70 pounds I paid for my night for 2 people i was satisfied with my stay, nothing special but for my trip all I needed was a bed to get some rest after a gig.

Stayed here with work, devastated, I slept one night, Disgusting, DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE REGARDLESS HOW CHEAP IT IS!! I hope anyone who is going to book here reads this review and thinks twice about it! I don’t know how they have not been shut down. You will literally be better of sleeping in a field, please trust me there is cleaner toilets on building sites….

Avoid like the plague. disgusting place, shouldn't even be allowed to have guests. Stains, hairs, broken furniture, broken light fittings, grime and grot everywhere. I cant believe that this place can call themselves a hotel, they should be ashamed.
