Hotels Near Camping Saint Disdille in Thonon-les-Bains

Easy access, clean, good staff and lots of free parkibg. Das hotel ist sehr einfach zu finden (mit google maps weil BMW Navi kennt die ”neue” Strassen nicht). Die Kolleggen waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben auch mit restaurant buchen geholfen. Supermärkte, Tankstellen, usw waren alle in der Nähe. Es gibt viele Parkplätze und der Parkplatz wird nachts auch geschützt und nur mit ein Code zu erreichen (die wir beim checkin bekommen haben). Das Hotel ist sauber und modern. Es hat da Job für eine Nacht super gemacht.

Because of the temporary change of the itinerary, I booked here, thank you Trip.com, and helped us communicate and coordinate in the middle of the night. At this moment, I feel that the quality service is the soul of a company! Unfortunately, I met the gloomy winter in France! Cold days, cold streets, floating people...

Belle salle pour le petit déjeuner et propre mais il n y avait pas assez à manger pour le petit-déjeuner des clients, j ai dû réclamé du pain car panière vide, plus d orange, table de présentation un.peu bordélique, pas assez d assiettes, manque petites cuillères...bref, il fallait réclamer sans cesse car le plein de denrées n était pas fait au fur et à mesure, la serveuse n a apporté que 3 petites baguettes pour une quaranraine de clients , donc beaucoup n ont pas eu de pains, et il n etait que 9h00 du matin donc nous n avons pas pu déjeuner à notre faim, des clients ont râlé dont moi, le personnel de service ne dit même pas bonjour, et tire la tronche, et avait l air de se foutre des plaintes des clients, trop cher payé pour ce qui est proposé au client, c est à dire pas grand chose, heureusement que le réceptionniste était sympa. Chambre propre mais odeur d urines persistantes dans la salle de bain car WMC en.panne. Je ne reviendrai pas.

Having stayed recently at the Verniaz Hotel for a week during the Evian Championship for nearly a week, I am regrettable giving this hotel a rather poor 2star rating. The rationale for this is based on a number of experiences and observations as well as speaking to colleagues who stayed there at the same time, some of them in the chalets and others who stayed like me in the main building. Rooms: Overall dated decor and structurally in urgent need of investment. My room rate for the week was an astonishing EUR 280 per room per night and frankly for this one can and should deserve much better. F & B: breakfast in incredibly poor. During a week with high occupancy due to aforementioned event, one would expect things would in order. Breakfast offering was poor and possible worse than a 3 star Ibis. Many items were not replenished, cooked breakfast items not being replaced. When ordering eggs, one morning they said they had run out of eggs (really in a hotel?) and the next morning when making the same request the answer was ”not sure if we have the right pot/pan to boil your eggs”. Incredibly poor. The photos below show the poor state of affairs on Friday morning and after 20 mins waiting still none of the dishes being replenished. Bar was not opened at start of our stay, later in the week it was open, but one evening trying to get a nightcap after a dinner in town, we waited for 10 mins in the bar, but no staff to be found so we left. The grounds/garden are poorly maintained, like the main hotel facilities and in urgent need of investment. I hope the new owners (Evian Resort) will start his soon as at the prices they charge, its simply not acceptable.

Very good, facing Lake Geneva, the environment is in the center of the town, it is very convenient to walk to any place in the town, but the hotel is a bit old, there is a smell in the aisle.

Très bon endroit au bord du lac et dans le centre ville. L'hôtel est calme, le personnel est accueillant et très professionnel . Le petit déjeuner est plus que correct. L'hôtel ne possède pas de parking privé mais un parking public fermé est situé juste en face de l'hôtel

We stayed in Nyon during our tour of Switzerland. It's super nice little town on the shore of lake Geneva. We loved the atmosphere there, especially in the old town. We chose the B&B to sleep for budgetary reason but let tell you, we were very surprised by the quality of the hotel. Very cozy lobby with a terrace and a TV area, nice comfy rooms with real AC (the first one we encounter in Switzerland) and of course a wonderful team! Those guys are always smiling ! Cherry on the cake, the parking was free ! Trust me this makes the difference, in Geneva we had to pay CHF 35.- per day!
