Sundance Lodge has the perfect location in sun peaks. Buttons restaurant is attached with excellent food, and overlooks the ski slopes. We went in the summer and enjoyed hiking, nature and biking. Being in the heart of town and activities we explored the village. We had such a lovely room with a kitchen and separate bedroom. Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer. We attended a free concert and took in some great restaurants. wonderful accommodation.

The location is great, close to the ski lift. The hotel gym has a small outdoor hot tub, which is nice to soak in while overlooking the ski slope. The storage space in the hotel's ski locker room is a bit cramped.

Robin was the best. Helped me and my family with a smile the whole time! Went out of her way to provide first aid supplies when my daughter had an accident. Called me when our lost items were found after we left! Robin is a saint!

In a nutshell, it's a glorified Motel 6 located in a Potemkin village. Room I had was very worn and needs an overhaul. Beds and sheets were very good however. Of concern were multiple doors marked "FIRE DOOR - Keep Closed" that were propped open. Another fire hazard was the front exit door was locked so only one side opened. In the garage, there are staff made signs stating that absolutely nothing is to be placed in this area. Guess what was in front of the signs? All told, it's a long miserable drive up a poorly maintained road, so unless you are there to ski or board, avoid or keep low expectations.

Dirty from floors and walls, to bed sheets and pillows. The room temperature was very warm (even with open windows and heater off) and there was nothing the staff could do to help. The only positive was the ski in-out.

Amazing location and it’s quite clean and a good value compared to other hotels in the area.
The property is getting tired though. There a few maintenance issues- burnt out light bulbs in room, nothing to scrub pans with (so we had pans with the last persons eggs baked on and nothing to clean them with).
Plus it can be really loud if you are at all near the elevator and stairs, or if you have upstairs neighbours that think it’s ok to have your kids run around in ski books at 645 am (not really the hotel’s fault, but there was not a lot of soundproofing).
If you are over-height, parking can be an issue as we got the last spot in the overflow of the overflow. Not sure what people that came in after us did. if you wanted to drive to the Nordic centre or somewhere else, you would have lost your spot.
