It was an excellent stay, the guest house is clean, the staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Their English is very good. The breakfast and dinner was tasteful and plenty. We also joined an excursion which gave us unforgettable memories with manta rays, nursing sharks and a beautiful beach visit. We absolutely recommend staying here! It is easy to visit from Male, they have regular public speed boat rides.

Excellent welcome, service and cleanliness. The rooms are spacious and well cared for. The breakfast is plentiful and very good. We contacted the property via WhatsApp (+960 7 764022) to organize the transfer from the airport, without any problem. Thoddo allows you to live a real experience with the locals, in a context of wonderful sea and beaches.

Very good guesthouse. We came 4 families of 9 people. Stayed 9 days. Breakfast and dinner included. We went to a cafe for lunch. All is well in terms of food. For breakfast, scrambled eggs, banana pancakes, toast, tuna sandwiches. For breakfast and dinner there were always fruits (papaya, watermelon, oranges, pineapples) and fresh juices (from papaya, watermelon, orange). For dinner, grilled fish or chicken, rice, curry, pasta with tuna, vegetable salad. There was more than enough food. Tea, coffee, milk, fresh water are always available. The room is good with a great view of the courtyard, the air conditioner is well located so it doesn’t blow, a refrigerator, tea, sugar and a kettle, mugs, drinking water was updated every day in a bottle. The bed is large (three people can easily fit on a double bed). Every day they cleaned the room (they made the bed, swept, renewed the water and tea with sugar). Beach towels and two shower towels are available. Hot water always! Stable internet. There is a mini balcony for drying clothes in the room and a veranda with chairs and a table. You can also borrow a mask, snorkel and fins for free. Very cozy and comfortable guesthouse. All liked it. No cons found. There are grocery stores in the area. Convenient location in the center of the island. Approximately 10 minutes walk to each beach. On the beaches there are sun loungers, hammocks, showers and toilets. Also on the beaches there are tents with fruits and fresh juices. There is a Russian-speaking diving center on the island. One dive per person $80 with video $100. We liked the rest very much. Friendly and sociable host staff. They can also book a transfer to Male for $35 per person. Meet and escort to the port by car.

Хороший и чистый отель, выбрали его из-за бассейна. Но возможности искупаться не было, так как за ним не следят и не чистят. Первые три дня был завтрак шведский стол, далее порционно и с ожиданием. В номере каждый день убирались, весь персонал приятный, кроме менеджера. Улыбается, но очень не приятный тип.

From the minute you walk through the orante wooden front doors you can tell this was a well looked after place. All amenities were at hand including outdoor showers and foot taps. There are also sunbed/loungers in the garden area for those after a suntan without going to the nearby beach. We recieved a really warm welcome from Nxaam who went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. It was very apparent his priority was to ensure we had a nice stay, he provided an outstanding level of service, which includes transfering all our luggage to & from the Harbour area for the Speed Boat from/to Male. We had two rooms booked both of which were very modern, each with hot water shower, plenty of towels, in fact when we arrived Nxaam quickly provided us with good quality beach towels as we simply dropped off our luggage and headed straight for the nearby ( 5- 8 minutes walk) ”BikinI” beach designated for tourists. The Beach was spotless with plenty of free sun beds/loungers. Back to Beach Cottage, there was a plentyfull supply of botteled drinking water readily available. Even fridges in each room to keep it nice and chilled. If you ran out of anything there was a small supply held in the lobby you could help yourself to to replenish any water bottles or bathroom bits and pieces. The rooms were immaculately presented and comfortable. There were plenty of choices for eating out nearby and all within 5 minute walking distance. The island of 1200 population is not large and can be wlaked around in a very short time. Back to the resurants we used the Shallow Lagoon and the Lemon Drop both offering a varied menue of local, Indean, Thai and European dishes. lots of choice for any discerning customer. So a massive Thank You to Nxaam for making us feel really welcome for providing such a high standard of accommodation for such a good rate - very much great value for money. A cracking place to stay.

This is a very nice island, the environment is very beautiful, the scenery is very beautiful, the hotel staff is very warm and friendly, recommend everyone to come and play!
