Amazing View Guest House

The hotel left a very pleasant impression (there is something to compare with; on the same trip we were on another island in another hotel with the same budget): Luxurious room: - Huge bed; - Huge mirror; - Large shower cubicle, rain shower; - Balcony with table and chairs, clothes dryer; Well-groomed, clean and thoughtful area: - The hotel is new, modern, not a grandma’s renovation, the coolest and most original door on the island! Round like the entrance to Bilbo's house (from The Hobbit: There and Back Again). - A lot of plants; - Roof with sun loungers and hanging chair; - Comfortable swings on site; - There are no mosquitoes or mosquitoes, there are parts of the island where they are devoured in 2 minutes, here the staff monitors this. Meals: - Normal breakfast; - Drinking fountain with unlimited water; - Unlimited tea, coffee (instant), hot water boiler. - Dining area with sand underfoot. Good location: - Located between two tourist ("bikini") beaches. Both are within walking distance. Staff: - Responsive staff, high level of English from the hotel owner, good level from the assistant; - Cleaning every day, changing towels upon request (left on the floor on another towel when necessary); - The staff is relaxed about bikinis and short clothing on site. Disadvantages: the plumbing is tired in places, as always in places with a hot climate (slight corrosion on the washbasin, the shower is ok). A simple breakfast, like probably everywhere in the Maldives. The short road to the beach through a grassy path was not a problem for us, but some may not like it. Geckos are everywhere on the walls (all over the island, we liked it, but I think not everyone is ready for living creatures). From the window there is a view of the construction site (once it is completed it will be beautiful).

Brand new facility in Thoddoo. Large, well-furnished rooms, but without wardrobes. Local cuisine for breakfast and dinner. Farooq, the owner, very welcoming and speaks English quite well. He also took us out on the boat for various excursions. The night snorkeling with the bioluminescent plankton and the swim with the angelic manta rays are unforgettable.

I was with my husband and my daughter in February 2020. The room was horrible, the bathroom was disgusting. As an island it really is the best, it has a spectacular beach but stay in the hotel closest to the beach since the beach is far away. And in the Amazing View, don't even think about it. All the opinions I see on Booking and TripAdvisor about this hotel and others are not true. They say that Difushi is spectacular and it's not true I'm in it right now. Bibee is under construction and they don't say it. disaster
