Visit local island in Maldives is one of my dream. We enjoy our stay here, comp for table, the receptionist is helpful. Breakfast is nice,i like it, we recommended this place n hopefuls will back with my friends,

We couldn’t choose better. Nice, clean accommodation for a great price. We had also breakfast and dinners from locals. It was also possible to have a lunch but we didn’t want it. food was anazing and staff was very nice. Location - in the middle of island so just a 10-15mins to beach. Quiet street. All stores were close. 2 bikes were included in price of accommodation. Everything was perfect.

was twice and was the best holiday for me. Everything was perfect - local dinners were very delicious. Azmy is amazing person - kind, funny,helpful, friendly. Rooms cleaned every day. Guesthouse has beautiful garden where the meal is served. It is also possible to go to the trips - Azmy helps with everything :) Island is small but nice and green. Absolutely recommend this accommodation and want to come back.

When my husband Michael and I travel we don't have any expectations, we just let the things unfold as we go and leave the rest to a surprise. Well, Veli and Thoddoo were a very pleasant one. Upon arrival on the island our host Azmy welcomed us at the port, we liked how everybody takes care that everything goes smooth for the visitors and that we feel safe. We stayed two weeks in Veli, had simple, yet savory and delicious breakfast and dinner in, as I like to call it, "Garden of Eden", the outside area of the Inn filled with unique plants carefully planted and taken care of by Azmy and his family. For any requests around food they are open to accept it, for ex., we had a non-meat meal option. The bedroom was simple and spacious, with a nice bathroom, and we appreciated the air conditioning, as the temperatures can be rough for us Europeans! We liked how the kitchen was available to us to make some coffee/tea at any time, cut some fruits and hang around, very family oriented space for sharing. Azmy easily "gets under your skin" in a positive way, he is funny, ready to help, easygoing, friendly, full of interesting stories that allow you to get to know and understand better their culture and life on the island. Michael and I are very thankful to him. Other than that, when you come to Veli, just relax and soak in the beautiful moments that you will spend there. We stayed at this hotel for the first time in January 2020, we felt so good that in January 2022 we stayed in the same accommodation. Azmy, its owner, is lovely, he helps you with everything. It makes us feel at home. The room is very clean, and the area where breakfast and dinner are served is very nice and cozy. He makes great breakfasts!!! If you need to reserve the speedboat to the island, he will arrange it for you. We had to wash clothes and Azmy did our laundry without any problems, and did not charge us any extra, those details are appreciated. One afternoon he took us to plant palm trees on the island. Thoddhoo is our favorite island in the Maldives, and we definitely know that we will return and that we will return to the Veli Thoddhoo Inn.
