It was my 5th wedding anniversary, and I decided to spend the day in Windsor rajadhani. I booked through Agoda, and due to an overlook, I booked an option, which was for 4 adults and kids. However I had booked two rooms which were for 2 adults. The moment they discovered the fact, they didn't allow me to sit in my room until I sorted our with agoda. This was after I had told them that it was my anniversary. The hotel staff kept calling our room until I was present in front of them. So I had to spend almost 2 hours in front of reception to sort out my issue with agoda with no compassion from the hotel staff. At last, I had to pay for 2 adults additional on top of what I paid for two rooms. I don't mind paying, but I expected that the room to be immaculate as they were so adamant on payment. However, when I entered the room, I saw stains on bathroom curtains and towels. Even after paying an additional amount, I had to ask for additional toiletries. The only good thing about my stay was the behaviour of room service staff. If the hotel is so stringent on policies, they need to pay services in par with what they stand for. However, I don't see that happening. When I checked out, I asked for GM's email ID. The lady in reception gave that on a piece of paper. When I asked if they didn't have a visiting card, she said that the hotel GM doesn't have that. For the cost they charge, I have better experiences in trivandrum. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone. They need to correct the wear and tear and appoint staff who can be compassionate in front office. Please look for other properties where customer service is taken seriously. I can assure that there are better options in trivandrum at the same price.
