SSteven myThe location is between Mihu and Husavic. There is a petrol station and supermarket nearby. (That supermarket is the highest price of the supermarket I have ever experienced). In addition to the location, I am very satisfied. I also saw the aurora at night.

DDavid Leung 11stayed for two nights to experience the Myvatn deeply even though in winter season. Myvatn doesnt have supermarket but a convinence store connected to gas station, opening time is until 18:00-19:00pm, this hotel is quite convenient to it. Restaurant option are not many also in Myvatn.
Apart from this hotel area located right near many tourist attraction, many hotels were also located near Myvatn Vistor Center area, around 15mins by drive, but even less options there (plus no convinence store, expect from the hotel).

GGuest UserThe cabin is an impressive stop during this trip around the island. I went to the Mihu Hot Spring first. It was absolutely niche and the facilities were very good. Because there were few people, it was very good. The cabin was very close. The front desk and the room were separated from the main road. It was very convenient to drive. Although the room is not big, it has floor heating. It is ice and snow outside, but the room is warm. Next to the front desk is the restaurant and cattle farm. Diners can watch the cows while eating, and the door of the cow shed also says welcome to visit. If you don’t dislike the taste, you can enter and get in touch with the cows. Dinner at the hotel, the taste is quite good, the ”Iceland borscht soup was rated as the best soup around the island. After dinner, we also drove to the nearby highlands to shoot the only aurora on this trip. The disadvantage of this hotel is that the room is not soundproof. But it is also a welcome and welcome flaw in the structure of the cabin that is returning to the real world.

Sshiyin7729Very very good, really happy! My husband has always praised me that this hotel is well booked. It is recommended to consider this hotel after the tour from Lake Myvatn. There is a natural hot spring. It is a hot spring pool covered by the natural hot spring that the owner flows down from the mountain. We didn't take a dip in the Blue Lake and Lake Myvatn this time because the schedule was too tight, but because this hotel comes with it, we took two dips in the evening and in the morning. After the dip, our hands and feet were warm.
Advantages: The room is large and has a small balcony. A small table and two chairs are placed for guests to relax and drink tea. The room is clean and hygienic, and the bathroom decoration is also very comfortable. There are natural hot springs outside. The breakfast was pretty good. The price is also very nice.

I am worry about that I need to add extra bed for my kid because only 2 single beds provided according to the booking record before I arrive. However, the truth is that the room has three single beds. That makes us have a good sleep. It also shows this hotel is so sweet for the guests. The room is cleaner and larger than any one I lived in Iceland. In addition, the breakfast is very rich. I strongly recommend this hotel if you want to travel or stay for the diamond circle in the Iceland.

The kitchen and bathroom are shared and slightly inconvenient. The kitchen has shared kitchen utensils and cutlery. The cooktop is small and can only be cooked for one time. The breakfast at the hotel is very good for several varieties. Compared to other parts of Iceland, the price of this hotel is high (scenic price), but the accommodation service provided is too general (farm level). In addition, there are many black flying insects in the area around Mihu in summer, and the face is rushing to the body. It feels very bad. Now I think of goose bumps. Summer travel is not recommended to live near Mihu, which is very expensive. Not comfortable.
