I chose Lemon Tree Hotel over other options and was deeply disappointed. Bathroom without shower curtain posed a big threat of slipping. Wash basin was broken. The sliding door of bathroom couldn't be locked from inside. Inspite of repeated reminders. Shampoo was not added to the dispenser during 3-day stay. Food was less than average in taste, quality and presentation. Signs of neglect and economy was evident all over.

The resort is surrounded by tall trees and mountains.all rooms are specious having balcony and great view of the sunrise Staff is very courteous and helpful they have Indian chef and offer Indian speciality Thank you for the great hospitality lemon tree hotels

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of the shops if you want to pick up souvenirs. On arrival, we enjoyed a delicious tea while the reception staff dealt with check-in formalities. They were extremely friendly. A special thank you goes to the lady who helped us with the connection to the wi-fi, as our equipment did not want to work with it. Our room was very spacious and clean with all the amenities a traveller would need. The toiletries were of good quality, we loved them. The food was enjoyable, especially for Indian tastes. International and vegetarian options were also available and portions were generous. We had some communication problems with the staff at the in-house restaurant, but no big deal. Note that there are lifts at the hotel, which is not a common feature in Bhutan.

Food service has a significant scope for improvement. It was below average. We had booked our breakfast which was supposed to be ready by 7 am and nothing was ready till 7. 30am. We had a flight to catch, so had to leave the hotel around 7. 45 without having proper breakfast. Dine

The property location is great, the food is good specially if you are indian. The rooms are however a little small.

Perfect location and a nice, cozy hotel with wonderful and helpful staff. The only problem i faced was using my card to swipe in inr even though it had been used internationally in the past. I had booked using the card while booking, and a minimal amount was deducted initially, too as a standard process. I think there should be ease to make payments using cards in inr since it's accepted in cash.

Stay and hospitality by staff was par excellence, we enjoyed so much that we would like to visit Thimphu year after year. From relaxing in the luxurious Lemon tree to savoring stunning ambience outside the widows and beyond, our first visit to Thimphu was a magical way to watch the world go by.
