Booked a family room to stay overnight ater a visit to Go Ape in Thetford Forest. Stay was reasonable, but there are pro-s and con's of this heotel. Pro's: very local to Thetford Forest which is a beautiful destination - room was spacey with adequate room for a family of four. Con's: this is clearly not a new Premier Inn; the hotel was in need of a lick of paint and the room itself didn't give the wow-factor (at all). There is no air conditioning (which is an expectation at Premier Inn's as far as I am concerned) and other reviews on here are testament to the fact that the warmer months make these rooms unbearably hot (just a fan stood in the corenr of the room). Equally, and this is a minor point, the shelf next to the double bed was broken meaning my glasses and mobile phone had to go on the floor while I slept (no charging sockets next to the bed either). The Whitbread pub next door (which is a seprate business) was nice, but equally dated with tables that were falling apart and chairs which were worn down to the foam inners showing through.
