The location near local facilities is convenient for events. Clean, modern facilities with good parking. Friendly, attentive staff provide exceptional service. Guests praise the consistently clean environment and rooms.

Clean room, comfy bed. Interesting old property. Bar doesn't open in the week so quite and would have to go out for food, but plenty of choice nearby, walking distance. Shower was nice and warm. Facilities were good, tea and coffee, complimentary soap, supplied towels.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the moment I arrived, Gez and Rosy Chatel redefined what hospitality means. They don’t just welcome you into their hotel—they welcome you into their family. Gez’s warm, genuine personality makes you feel at ease instantly, while Rosy’s cooking is nothing short of culinary magic. I’m not exaggerating when I say her food is some of the best I’ve ever had—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and served with love. Every meal felt like it belonged in a fine dining restaurant, yet carried the warmth and comfort of a home-cooked feast. They go above and beyond in every possible way. Whether it’s sharing stories, introducing you to locals, or making sure you’re comfortable in every detail, they treat you as if you’re the most important guest they’ve ever had. In my time here, I’ve laughed, eaten like royalty, and felt truly cared for. It’s rare to find people this genuine in life, let alone in hospitality. I’ve stayed in many places, but I can say without hesitation that I wouldn’t pick another hotel over this one. Gez and Rosy have set the bar so high, I doubt anyone else could reach it. My time here has been above and beyond what I could have hoped for, and I’ll carry these memories with me long after I leave.
