Plaza Hotel, Philian Hotels and Resorts

The location is excellent, on walking distance from the shopping streets and attractions. Lots of nearby restaurants and taverns. Parking is limited and with reservation, but you have nearby paid parking of 15eur/24h. The personnel is competent and easy to communicate in English. I recommend hotel Plaza

Clean room and public spaces, friendly staff, fairly priced and close to a large car park. The location is very good for city centre walks and shopping, in the heart of "ladadika" district. Very quiet for a good sleep. We went as a couple and were pleased from the hospitality.

We had a 3 day stay here at the hotel. We were very impressed with our room which was completely renovated. The breakfast served here is worthy of a 4 and 5 star hotel. What amazed my husband and I was that all the staff were a tight knit community. They were all polite and accommodating to the highest degree. Special thanks to Kyria Zoi who cooks the most amazing fresh handmade food. There was so much variety from hot breakfast to the pies and hand made olive bread. Kyria Zoe and your team a fabulous job! Special thanks to breakfast crew: Zoe, Despina, Victoria and Alexandra. Special thanks to reception staff : Doukas, Elpida, Alexandra and to Stephanos and Vasilis. Also thank you to Manolis who took our booking. Kyrie Yianni you have an amazing team and you have done an excellent job as manager of the hotel. We look forward to returning. It’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The room was quite small but very clean and that’s the most important and the breakfast was good there was something for everyone. The staff was always kind and helpful and they gave us good tips for the town.

I thought the location of the hotel was very nice. It is not possible to pull your vehicle up to the hotel to drop off luggage, utilize a valet service - always nice in larger cities - or park a vehicle on hotel property. There is a paid parking lot to the NW of the hotel (on Salaminos street). It was 15 euros for the night. The walking distance from this parking lot to the hotel entrance was very manageable. The lobby area is pretty small. The check-in staff was very nice, but not particularly efficient. The stairs within the hotel are such that they have different heights, causing a couple people to trip. If this is a problem, there is also a small elevator. The view from our room was of another building, directly across the street. Nothing to be excited about. But, given the city location, it was not bad either. There were large windows that let in plenty of sunlight, but were also very good at blocking out daylight in the morning. There is a sign in the bathrooms asking for no paper to be placed into the toilet. This is not uncommon in Greece, but always good to know ahead of time. The shower in our room also was particularly adept at funneling water to the floor outside the shower. There apparently was a large enough gap at the bottom of the door to allow this and was unavoidable. The decor of the room was nice. It has obviously been renovated and outfitted with more modern furniture and fixtures. It had a nice aesthetic. The location in the neighborhood was wonderful. It is so easy to walk to many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and Aristotelous Square. This is a very nice neighborhood to appease an eclectic style. This may be this hotel's greatest feature. The breakfast area is fairly small, but sufficient. Staff were pleasant. The food offering was a little meager, but had nice selections available.

We stayed for 7 nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was small but clean. Breakfast was quite good with a variety of selections. There was filte coffee but an option for better coffee if you payed. The hotel itself is a little worn but that just adds to the experience. The location is exelent, just by the Ladaditka district with many restaurants an coffee shops. Overall a comfy stay.
