Niraamaya, Covered with Nature:It was my first trip to Thekkady with my family.We booked Niraamaya for our 2 nights stay in Mountain view room.Wow...what an ambience, The services of staff were excellent.Special thanks Mr.Ansar, i appreciate his outstanding customer service and courtesy.The pool is really nice,and the spa is excellent,We enjoyed our stay and Thank you Niraamaya team.This is a very carm and peaceful place for your vacation.We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

Mountain view and room ambience was good. Also the lightings in the night was worth a mention. Swimming pool was too small and evening there were lots of people waiting for their space to step into swimming pool. Also chlorine mixed in the water was too high causing eye irritation for everyone in family. Also the swimming pool is not at par for a resort with such a star value.

Great hospitality the view is great the food was good. The greenery makes it very lively the comfier at night. extremely satisfying and makes you feel connected with nature. I had a very comfortable stay at the resort. I would highly recommend Niraamaya Retreats if you're visiting Thekkady.

Excellent property with great hospitality. Team there at the property was very helpful in check in and check out process. Food was good. Pool was neat and clean. Rooms service was amazing. Would recommend to friends and family for a wonderful stay

Wonderful loved it here ! The hotel is up a quite long side road, quite bumpy and windy, however the small intimate hotel is great, set high up on a hill and amongst the forrest trees. Bird song and whooping monkeys through the day. THe restaurant is simple, not elegant, but that was fine and welcome, the food was good , the service was excellent. The pool area is small but fine for the size of the hotel, the pool water was somewhat cloudy for some reason but fine. A problem with their ablity to transact credit card payments led to us and other guests having to wait approximately 30-40 mins on the last day, not a problem for us but could have been if going directly for a flight. BY contrast with some of the other hotels we visited the staff spoke very good English which was welcome and good to know we were being understood. Will be very happy to return one day.

The staff was so amicable and lovely, the food was super, and the room was excellent. I would recommend Niraamaya to any and all. The review has to be 200 characters so I am adding language but the gist of my review can be found above in the first two sentences.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this resort for 4 nights. The drive to the resort from the main road was a rocky, bumpy, narrow single lane 2km road filled with potholes, which could have damaged our car's tires and suspension. However, when we got to the resort, we were welcomed with a welcome drink (ginger tea) and were led to our room - the mountain view room. As we had reached the resort past sunset, we didn't get to see anything from the balcony of our room as it was pitch dark outside. The room was excellent, it was a wooden cabin with almost ceiling to floor glass window panes. The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable, but they were good. We woke up to the sound of bird calls and also some monkey hoots in the distance. We loved the serenity of the resort, even though it had only 13 rooms, it felt really upmarket and beautifully designed. The breakfast options were great, a good mix of south indian, north indian and western food options with fruit juices. Lunch and dinner options were good too. The resort ***agers (Mr. Prakash, Ms. Indu) and the staff at the restaurant were really welcoming and made our stay a good one. All in all, we highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a short getaway from your routine lives!

Had a wonderful time at niraamaya recently,needless to say the staff was extremely warm caring and hospitable throughout... had it not been for the warm, made to feel at home environment, I wouldn't have extended my stay by a good 4/5 days.. a speciallll thanks to Mr. Ashok, Indu, Chef sunder, the restaurant staff jyotish & raj.. the rest of the team as well for taking such good care throughout.. thank you all once again.. Will definitely plan another trip soon Neha
