I had an excellent experience during my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The location was great. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The dormitory was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beds were cozy, and the shared facilities were tidy and convenient. I especially loved the mention any special feature, e.g., rooftop terrace, social events.

Location was a bit tricky. You needa walk uphills with your luggage to the hostel. The hotel had a rooftop with an opera house view. The location was close to the Rock market, Pancakes on the Rock. It’s also in walkable distance to the circular quay and opera house.
Early self check-in was allowed.
In the compartment, usb charging was also available.
A cabinet was provided. Your own padlock was required to lock the cabinet.
No shampoo/ body wash/ toothpaste/ toothbrush were provided, which was acceptable as a hostel.
Free luggage storage after check-out was available.

I was so lucky to choose YHA Sydney harbour The Rock for my first trip in Sydney. The staff at the reception have a warm service attitude and always give a smile, which makes me feel friendly.
It's very well located, just a few minutes' walk from Circular Quay, and it's easy to get anywhere by Train/Line/ferry.
It is worth mentioning that the rooftop of the third floor has an excellent view, and you can lie on the chair at night, blowing the night breeze, and enjoy the most comfortable moment of the day.
The only drawback I would say is that the room is a little small, and the roommate who occasionally came back late may affect other‘s sleep.

This hostel was great! Has a 24/7 café area and laundry room, plus a stunning view of the Harbour. I went there for Australia Day and watching those fireworks from the rooftop was magical. The location was within walking distance of two train stations, near the wharf, and extremely close to most tour meet up locations. The staff is incredibly helpful too.
