Villa Kaya is a lovely property in a great location. It’s a 1 minute walk to a small very quiet beach and 5 mins from Grand Anse beach. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you, Mia (manager) booked us tours and taxis and all the staff checked with us regularly that everything was ok and did we need anything. The room we had was the Driftwood suite which was lovely, very comfy bed. It has a small kitchen area including a microwave and hob but we ate all the time; the only thing we really used was the fridge and kettle. There is a restaurant a 1 minute walk from the Villa, Brisa Mar which was nice but there are lots of places to eat either a 10-15 min walk or a short taxi ride away. There are a couple of beach bars on the small beach that are great for lunch. There is an honesty bar in a clubhouse which we used a couple of times and the drinks are very reasonable priced compared to other bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend Villa Kayak to anyone, you won’t be disappointed if you want a quiet relaxing get away, but if you want hustle and bustle and a large resort then this isn’t the place for you.

Villa Kaya was a perfect destination for a quiet, relaxing long weekend. Our room was beautiful & clean. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants for dinner & to La Plywood, the beach cafe with great fish tacos. We're glad we discovered it & will return in the future.

My husband and I decided on Grenada for a March getaway and we struggled to find a place that checked all the boxes. My husband just happened across Villa Kaya while looking on Google Maps and thank God he did. What a find! It was everything we were hoping for. Beautiful view, convenient location, relaxing atmosphere and very clean. We stayed in the Boathouse Villa and it was perfect. It has a small kitchen, an outside area with a BBQ, a large bathroom with double sinks, an outdoor shower and tub (don't worry it is plenty private), a large king side bed and the most incredible deck right off of the bedroom. The deck has a beautiful view of the water and surrounding coastline. My husband and I would often sit out there with a drink and just read. It was so serene. Breakfast is provided and is a wonderful assortment of pastries, deli meats, cheeses, eggs and fruit. They serve from 8:30-10:30. Some days we got ready and went straight to breakfast, other days we went for a long walk on the beach first and still had time for breakfast. Although there are no other meals included, don't worry there is a good restaurant just two doors away and others within walking distance. Further, there is also an IGA grocery store just over a kilometre away. We walked there and purchased some food and snacks. We used the BBQ twice to cook some meals at the suite. Villa Kaya also has an "honesty bar" where you just help yourself to drinks and write down what you took. We would often grab bottles of wine, beer and water to take back to our room to enjoy in the evenings. (Often out on that beautiful deck off of the bedroom). Although this location is waterfront, it is not beachfront. However, the beaches are quite close. BBC beach is less than a 5 minute walk and Grand Anse beach is about a 10 minute walk. Grand Anse beach is a bit more challenging to walk to just because the area's landscape has a lot of hills and to get to Grand Anse you have to traverse one. Not much of a problem if your mobility is good. We went there often. We preferred BBC beach though, not just because it was closer, but also because it was calmer waters than Grand Anse. Grande Anse's waves definitely seemed rougher. Neither beach was ever crowded, in fact it seemed quite the opposite. Even the days the cruise ships come in, the cruisers stay all at the furthest end of the beach and never seem to wander from that area. The weather was a consistent 31 Celsius every day, but a constant warm breeze continuously flows, never making the heat uncomfortable. There is a small infinity pool on the property. We used it a couple of times and there was never anyone else using it. It felt like out own private plunge pool. The staff were wonderful. Agatha put out a wonderful spread each day for breakfast, the cleaning staff checked in with you regularly to see if/when you wanted your room cleaned. And Mia...what can I say. The woman never stops working, but always to ensure you stay is perfect. If

Villa Kaya was an amazing find! We stayed for a week and I highly recommend staying there. The place is stunningly beautiful- comfy beds and cotton linens. The outdoor kitchen was such a treat to have for making lunches and dinners / cocktails. We used the pool and paddle boards daily and just sat in the shade on our comfy patio watching the stunning view, hummingbirds in the trees and the occasional iguana sunning itself. The net bed was a bonus that our kids who stayed in another suite loved. The breakfast was a nice way to try some local treats - like guava cheese and chocolate. Two great beaches a short walk or paddle away. Mia and Kallin (sp?). We’re so friendly. We would definitely recommend to go stay with them at the stylish Villa Kaya

I loved my stay at Villa Kaya! The best part of the stay was the awesome staff led by Mia ! Next is the well-appointed rooms, no view is bad! The views of the caribbean sea are unspoilt and fab! I will stay here again without hesitation! I loved my room. For transportation I had an uber-style service which was fast, safe and reasonable! I walked to the market to get my groceries and made my meals when I chose to. Breakfast is provided by a friendly staff. You wont regret staying at Villa Kaya! If views ,laid-back, authentic experience with close distance to the carribean sea are top of your list, look no further. BOOK THIS!

Villa Kaya is gorgeous, super clean, very stylish. Stayed in SeaShell Villa10 nights. Staff including Agatha at breakfast and her staff, gardener so pleasant, the cleaning crew, everyone was so caring and friendly. Mia, the manager is wonderful, on hand and responds very quickly to any needs, as does owner. The breakfast was more diverse and yummy than we thought it would be. Nice to share big table and conversation with very nice guests. The villa is gorgeous, modern, furniture super comfortable, and we could have hung on that deck for weeks! Stunning views of the beach and the glorious sea. It's fun to be able to swim or paddle board from the lower deck. Sea conditions were not always on our side, so snorkeling there wasn't worth it but with less cloudiness it could be interesting. 2 min walk to beach. Kaya has 4 parking spots. We ate mostly at Savvy's at Cinnamon which is walkable though we drove. 2 restaurants on Morne Rouge Beach were not good. In fact, by no fault of the Villa Kaya, La Plywood bar on beach gave us some grief with constant loud base booming (sometimes all day), sometimes just at night. Beware, best to go out Saturday night somewhere else if you don't want to have to listen to house music (not Caribbean music) blaring from Plywood. Owner is trying to do something about it. Other than that, Villa Kaya is a winner all around. Beautiful, so well situated, relaxed, quiet at the actual resort, and worth the money. We loved it. Thanks.

Upon arrival at Villa Kaya, we were welcomed like we were family. We received an immediate invitation to a group gathering. The location is amazing, and the view is tough to beat. Just a few minutes' walk to BBC Beach. Grand Anse Beach is also within walking distance. Our room was spotless with a complete kitchen. The pool and dock area was very peaceful and relaxing. We met several other couples during breakfast and enjoyed our conversations. A huge thank you to Craig, Mia and the rest of their team. You all made our stay perfect. We are looking forward to returning.
