Online it said it was a 3-star hotel but it felt more like 2-star. Our room smelled but was relatively clean. The shower had strong water pressure, and all the drainage was good. My wife was happy with it but I felt it was meh.

Overall clean room with comfortable bed. It would take such little attention to improve the room (222). Bathroom wallpaper is peeling off and the toilet bowl is stained. In room coffee was not good, but the lobby had coffee available for guests.

We stayed at Cousins Country Inn a few years ago and loved it, which is why we decided to come back. Unfortunately, this stay has been a major disappointment. I’m writing this review from our room because I’m so displeased. This time we were placed in the far back building, and the difference in quality between our previous room and this one is stark. The room smelled off when we walked in, and the old, loud AC unit runs constantly, making it hard to relax or sleep. The bathroom was not clean — there was someone else’s hair in the tub and a nearly empty roll of toilet paper left on the holder. The carpet was stained and so dirty it turned my kids’ feet black from walking on it for 5 minutes. The worst part of our experience, though, was at the on-site restaurant. The food served to my kids was inedible, and we had to ask for part of it to be taken off the bill. They didn’t offer to replace the items, including an awful asparagus side that was a serious choking hazard for my toddler. I felt sick after eating my meal, and overall the quality and care in both the hotel and restaurant have clearly declined. Thankfully, we’re only here for one night. Sadly, this will be the last time we stay here.

We had to change rooms twice in this hotel as the AC was not sufficient in the rooms. We were told that there was boat parking, which I would not recommend using as it is just regular vehicle parking. We were also told we could charge our boat motor but none of the outdoor outlets were working.

Cousins is a great place to stay. The rooms are good. Your staff is great. The pool and hot tub are clean. Restaurant is wonderful.

The rooms were cute, and the bed was actually comfortable. I love that the pool was actually open until midnight. This is always a plus because we arrive kind of late. The food at the restaurant was alright. I do not recommend the cupcakes.

Great Roadside hotel, very clean, staff is exceptionally friendly. Best pool and hot tub of a 6 day vacation with night hotel stays. We stayed at more expensive hotels during our trip and the teenagers loved the spa and hot tub set up most of all at this hotel. Easy car to room access. Overall just a great place. The desserts offered in the resteraunt are fabulous.

Toilet seat slips to side of Toilet. I almost fell off. Two chairs worn out. I almost sunk to floor. Electric door lock/opener malfunctioned over and over. I almost fell into room on 5th try success. Lamp has detached socket. I almost was shocked. The "seasonally heated" Pool wasn't heated. I must be here during the wrong season. No elevator to second floor. Very steep steps. Be sure to book lower level room. Peeling wallpaper in bathroom. Very friendly staff. They need a full time handyman to fix all the little issues.
