Motel 6 the Dalles, or

Was fine with the hotel except for the price. Booked thr room for 80.23 then got to the hotel and they said the total was 104 and some change questioned the total and they said they didn't know to call customer service then on my bank statement it said 109.and some change. Not happy about it at all.

Absolutely horrific! My oldest son and I were transporting my youngest son and his vehicle to his permanent base in Spokane, WA. We had to stop in the Dalles on our way home to get some rest. We ended up getting in around 1:00am and we were beat as it was a very long day and we just wanted to get in and lay our heads down on our beds at this point!! The man at the front desk was very nice, and I do want to let this be known. He was very accommodating the whole time I dealt with the this hotel and you could tell he was embarrassed. He set my son and I up with a room on the second floor right in the middle and after we dropped the car and trailer off we walked back to our room. My son opened the door, turned the lights on, dropped our bags, and yelled “cockroaches!” I was directly behind him and seen them myself scurrying along in disbelief and yelled back to my son in horror “pick up our bags!” This is not what anyone wants to be dealing with at 2:30 in the morning, let alone a single momma with only her son. The front desk was willing to give our money back, in fact didn’t act shocked at all. But since we had reserved through the app he couldn’t do anymore. Once I tried to cancel the charges, my bank froze my card thinking it was fraud

Right next to a seriously good diner (Cousins'), quiet, friendly staff, easy check in/out, great price for the area, convenient location, super close to highway 84, downtown and main roads, mini fridge, microwave in the unit. Everything I needed and a great stay

We were pleasantly surprised the room was very clean It was very comfortable and we had a restful stay. We will stay there again.

Dated. You can hear noise from parking and leaving car. Curtains old and dirty. Hot water on faucets hard to regulate and can cause burn.

Great value Great value. Comfortable bed used earplugs. Logging trucks parked close left early in the morning. Only issue was the sink didn’t drain well. Friendly staff. Be prepared restaurants were not open Monday night that I tried to go to ended up driving to Hood River for a great meal at Pfreim
