Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas the Colony

The property was nice and clean, the reason they get only 2 stars is due to my having booked a suite king bedroom where the bed is separate from the living area so as to allow me to get sleep while my husband slept with his loud cpap machine. The property, unbeknownst to me, chnaged my reservation and i didnt find out until I got there and checked in. The only explanation i was offered was that 1st shift made the change. No reason given for the change or why i wasnt contacted regarding the change. Needless to say, i barely got any sleep and spent a bunch more money and didnt get what i paid for. I am hoping ******* corrects this on their end.

Great location and the staff was friendly. Location is excellent with plenty of top rated restaurants within walking distance.

Check in was easy. The front desk associate did her best to accommodate my early arrival. When she didn’t see an available room in the system, she called housekeeping to see if there were any rooms available that weren’t updated in the system and I was able to get a room early. Staff is friendly, my hotel room was really clean. The only reason why I gave 4 stars for cleanliness is because one night in the sitting area, some coffee cups and soda bottles were left out. I know that’s not the hotel’s fault, but probably would’ve been better if someone from the night staff check that area to ensure trash isn’t out. But other than that, really clean. Modern and up to date. Overall, had a wonderful stay! This will be my first choice hotel whenever I return to the area!

I was really impressed by this hotel. Room was a nice size, beds were comfortable, free breakfast was hot and good. The biggest plus for me was the in room shampoo/conditioner products. I am very sensitive to sulphates in hair products so I always travel with my own but this place had sulphate and paraben free in room products, so I used there’s and didn’t have to bust out my stuff. I was very impressed with this. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

The room was amazing, the TVs even greeted me when I got there! The daily breakfast is great added value.

They offer free hot breakfast every morning,Hot Coffee available throughout the day
