Once in a life time experience. Best beach i have ever been. Unique service. Polite employees. Beatiful resort and location. Many thanks to the owner who is very helpful and offer high quality hospitality.

An excellent hotel for couples who want to spend their holidays in absolute peace and comfort without any demands on the top gastronomic experiences that Greece and Thassos have to offer The Pros beautiful and quiet environment, the only hotel in a separate bay surrounded by a pine forest, a very nice and well-kept garden the hotel and rooms have a very nice, modern design, rooms are well equipped: safe, hairdryer, coffee maker, kettle with tea and coffee, regularly replenished water in bottles, basic cosmetic preparations beach and sea clean, sunbeds good quality and comfortable in sufficient quantity, beach towels available breakfast rich and of good quality staff friendly, but... The Cons car/taxi needed to get outside the hotel long, narrow and bumpy access road towels are unnecessarily changed every day even if they are not stored on the floor food except for the breakfast is of a poor standard - poorly seasoned, not many Greek specialities, often served lukewarm or cold most of the staff in the restaurant and bar are not very professional / slow service, incorrect handling of orders rooms with garden view are in fact with parking view

Once again, hospitality is NOT the walls or the amenities. Hospitality is PEOPLE. Thanks to Athina, Rafailia, Markella, and Stefanos for making my visit super smooth. Their smiles and attitude transcend the simple architecture of this resort. So, 5 stars for the staff. 1 star for making this location so difficult to reach, if you are not a hotel guest. Top tip: The GM should take a daily walk of the property to rectify inconsistencies and give the proper example to the staff and guests.

This hotel has the worst management I have experienced,they are beyond incapable despite having a confirmed reservation they messed it up. They should immediately fire the reservation manager-Anastasia and the person who is supposed to be the manager. If the owners of the hotel want to know why I am saying all this, then please contact me and I will gladly forward you the e mail correspondence. The hotel is Super clean and average e food but rather expensive. Summary-Avoid

Very nice and Super clean property run by terrible management, they haven't a clue of running a hotel, the lady called Anastasia who is supposed to be the reservation manager must be replaced now and the man I presume is her husband too Get rid of them and improve the F&B quality and pricing then you will have a business

It’s the time of year where we are organizing with my family our summer vacations and it crossed my mind that I had forgotten to write a review for one of the best boutique hotels we have had the joy to visit. Vathi Cove Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel!!! The hotel constitutes the ultimate choice for high-end holidays in a relaxed and serene setting literally nestled on the golden sand of a secluded beach with the emerald colors of the sea!!! Not only did my family experience unforgettable moments in this place but my children insisted on booking again for this summer! The property is isolated which offers you the pleasure to enjoy your stay and relax in the surroundings of a pine forest and the sea!! What more can you ask for!! Τhe children never felt bored while they were also enjoying the pool and me and my husband couldn’t get enough of the one and only beach… Moreover, the rooms are spacious with luxurious furniture, very clean and neat and with a very smart configuration. The amenities were from Jo Malone something which you can find in very upscale hotels and the comfort we felt in the rooms were like home!!! The interior design of the hotel was unique with a very chic and delicate taste!! Breakfast was sufficient and just having it on the beach made you feel in real harmony. The staff was very helpful and kind and not to mention about the bar tender, he really knew how to make special cocktails!!! Thank you all for a memorable time. Can’t wait to visit you again this summer!!!!!

The property is beautiful and brand new, with nice and clean (we had sae view) rooms. The location is stunning, right on the beautiful beach, surrounded (only) with pine forest. Absolutely isolated place. It’s very calm and have potential for relax stay. The staff is nice and kind, but it’s easy to conclude that they need time to be more organized. For five stars property they made a lot of serious mistakes, during our stay. The place is very difficult to find and reach, because there isn’t absolutely any sign on the main roads, and after that you have half and hour of off road drive. It’s not easy to leave this place for lunch or dinner, because you will lose a lot of time. The other alternative is to eat in the hotel, where drinks and food in are very expensive. The menu for lunch and dinner is the same and very very limited. If you stay longer, you will problem with the choice. The breakfast is average. This hotel has big contrast between property itself and organisation inside it, even people are kind. Somehow you can’t fully enjoy in this lovely place, because of small issues which are constantly disturbing you. Please improve organization and food issue.

We spent 10 days at Vathi Cove. This boutique-style hotel is located on a stunning private beach! The hotel is new and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The front desk staff are fantastic and so willing to help. The management do however need to improve on the quality of the food which is very poor. Both the breakfast and the a la carte fine dining restaurant do not offer the quality expected for a five-star establishment. We look forward to returning and enjoying the improved food and beverage offering.

I was accommodated for 9 nights at Vhathy Cove and it was the biggest disappoin**ent that I had a hotel at such a price (more than 400 euros per night). Let's start with beautiful things. The hotel is located in a very beautiful location, it is very nice decorated, the rooms are clean... The less beautiful things were a lot. 1. Although the beach is one of the most beautiful in Thasos is full of sea urchins. My future wife was stung by a sea urchin in the first day. But the problem with sea urchins is not the hotel's fault. 2. We found twice hair on the clean towels. First time we thought that it was an accident. This is the reason why I did not even announce the reception first time. 3. Breakfast is far, but very far from what a breakfast is supposed to be at a hotel at that price. It contains very few dishes, you will not find some traditional Greek products (cheese, olives, etc.). Also, if you come late at breakfast you will see many empty plates. 4. I think that the hotel's employees drink the forgetting elixir :))). You have ordered a cocktail on the beach, they forget to bring it. They asked us if we want a fresh orange juice or water at breakfast, we finish the breakfast and they do not bring them. I asked once, if possible, to bring me some olives to breakfast. They told me that they will bring them immediately. They did not even come up with them. We ordered 2 mini burgers in the room and because they have absolutely no taste I asked if they can bring some ketchup and mustard. They said that they immediately bring it and of course they forgot. :))) 5. One day I found a dirty plate (full of stains and grease) in those that should be clean. 6. We speak at Reception that it is a problem with the shower leakage. The reception told us that they will resolve immediately. We had to recall them after 2 days.:))) 7. Food in the à la carte restaurant was awfull. We ordered lamb chops and we received only bones and cartilages. I do not think we could eat 50 g of meat from that plate. Also, the slow cooked lamb had no taste. But absolutely no taste. Luckily I had salt. :))) A good point for the hotel was that when we showed them the plate with lamb chops they decided not to charge for it. I'm curious, however, if the hotel's chef was proud when he let go of that plate from his kitchen to a client. 8. The extremely poor quality of the food comes with a great downside. To eat in the evening, we had every day to go to the city (which means 12 km on a dirt road that is extremely bumpy). No matter how tired we are...After a year in protective suit working with Covid 19 patients, all we wanted was to rest. 9. The hotel's policy changed every day. Some days you get a water and ice on the beach, some days not. But that it's not a big problem, a water being 3 euros. 10. The rooms from the middle of the hotel have sea view, but the view is obstructed by the umbrellas at the restaurant. Unfortunately, we had such a room. In conclusion, a beautiful hotel and lo
