Very nice hotel close to Thalwil train station, and a few minutes to Zurich by train. Charming and comfortables rooms with spectacular views to the lake and the Alpes, everything is perfect at this hotel and breakfast is very good. I loved the hotel and I'll come back in my next visit to Zurich

The hotel is in a perfect location, easy to take the train, near to the lake! the room is clean, beg, very comfortable and quiet what was a surprised for me because it is really near of the train station. The breakfast is amazing! All the staff is polite and friendly.

My experience was as follows:Lovely welcome from staff. The Room was spotless . The Breakfast had good choices each morning. The Location was perfect beside the Train station. I would definitely come back to stay here again. Thank you Hotel Sedartis Team.

The hotel is a few steps both from the railway station and the small port if you plan to take a ship across the lake (highly recommended). The room was spacious, fully equipped, nicely decorated and even featured a small balcony. We had a quality sleep here. The breakfast selection was wide and so delicious that we returned for a light lunch also after checking out.

A fantastic hotel covieniently place opposite Thalwil railway station giving fast access by train into Zurich city. This hotel offers perfectly clean and friendly accomodation.

The service in the hotel was excellent, at breakfast and at reception. The extra pillow and shower mat were present on arrival after being requested at booking. The balcony overlooking lake Zurich was roomy and the view spectacular. The hotel is very well placed for the train journey into Zurich which was useful given the very wet weather during my stay.

Chose Sedartis for its proximity to the train station. Thalwil looks like a charming and quiet lakeside town….which it most probably is. First lets give credit- beautifully decorated room, comfy and clean bed- a very nice place to spend the night in. Was given a room facing the mountain/train station- but unfortunately with rail works renovations- i slept a grand total of 3hrs due to the noise. This hotel does not have central ventilation or AC - so open windows are a must…which is fine- if the noise outside is manageable…. Sadly after a night if cutting railway metal, the roadwork started up literally under my window at 7:30.am. Realizing that these are out of the hotel’s control, choice of room and expectation management is not. Finding earplugs in the room only confirmed my suspicion. To then leave without even asking how was the stay - as the jackhammer sings ensures I will not return. Shame as the hotel didnt look full, the rooms are great and the front facing rooms must be amazing and tranquil. Tip: make sure you stay on the Dr. Jekyll side & you’ll be golden.
