The Inthira at Thakek is a wonderful hotel that offers clean, comfortable rooms. We were planning on staying one night but ended up sleeping here for 3 nights on our trip to Thakek. The hotel has a fantastic location, a minute's walk away from the river front where you can watch the sunset over Thailand. Each room has a comfortable bed with clean, soft bedding. Each room has toiletries provided, as well as a mini-fridge, a hairdryer and towels. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in the town. However, the restaurant did run out of food very quickly, so this limited our options of what we could eat, which was a shame. However, the food we did have was delicious. The breakfast was filling and you could order extra if you wished.

Paradise location overlooking clean & clear river. Sipping cocktails while watching the sunset was exquisite. We loved the friendly and efficient staff. The bungalow we stayed in for 2 nights had a restful balcony facing the river. It had good air con and we were thankful for the insect spray provided in each room. There were lots of small flying insects in the restaurant which were a bit annoying, but this didn't detract too much from our nice dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, you could choose from 7 different “breakfast sets”. We used their 12hr Laundry Service which was very convenient. We also used their kayaks to venture to a peaceful area of the river. If you plan to go to Kong Lor caves from the hotel, use the taxi boat to get to the caves (rather than by car). The manager, Thomas, is very helpful and will provide all the necessary information.

Stayed in February 2022 for 2 nights, the staff gave the room to us even though they knew that the toilet lid was not tight, until checked out they still hadn’t fixed it. Breakfast has a bread zone, orange jam, strawberry jam, steamed rice, egg fried rice, 2-3 more menus to be chosen. egg zone, fried egg, omelet, etc. boiled rice, vietnamese noodles. fruits are quite fresh and clean. Pure water, orange juice seemed like they mixed with many brands. Fresh milk, cornflakes, quite a variety, food are okay. Good location, next to the Mekong River walkway, there is a 7-11 next to the hotel, opposite the hotel there is a parking lot which quite spacious and comfortable. Located in the heart of the city, not far to drive and look around. there is a walking street just 3-5 mins drive. Stunning view of Makong river if requesting a room on the river side.You will see the sunrise, cool breeze, and there are bicycles to borrow to ride. There are many restaurants nearby good for dinner, gas station. it takes about 20-25 minutes to drive from the airport. If renting a car, do not fill up the oil here. the oil will reduce 1 mark and be fined from the company you can’t say you won’t pay because you have limited time. Go to fill up near the airport.

It is a homey accommodation. Easy walk to walking street Near Phraya Srisattanakarat Wherever you go, it is convenient to run Grab. The accommodation has bicycles to borrow, comfortable to use. The owner of the accommodation is a very cute family. Yes, will check in and check out late. Just call to tell The owner understands and cares. Very impressed I have to go again for sure, but try to check the booking date next year in March. It's full here and I'm secretly sorry. Paradise location overlooking clean & clear river. Sipping cocktails while watching the sunset was exquisite. We loved the friendly and efficient staff. The bungalow we stayed in for 2 nights had a restful balcony facing the river. It had good air con and we were thankful for the insect spray provided in each room. There were lots of small flying insects in the restaurant which were a bit annoying, but this didn't detract too much from our nice dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, you could choose from 7 different “breakfast sets”. We used their 12hr Laundry Service which was very convenient. We also used their kayaks to venture to a peaceful area of the river. If you plan to go to Kong Lor caves from the hotel, use the taxi boat to get to the caves (rather than by car). The manager, Thomas, is very helpful and will provide all the necessary information.

The river is right opposit the hotel. Good cheap room and nice staff. We paid only US$ 17 per night for a private room and were happy with what we paid for. Laos does not have too many tourists now but it starts having more.
