Our stay was such a blast that we decided to come back in the end of our trip. Everything is just perfect, starting from the gorgeous staff to the modern, luxurious rooms and the delicious food. The manager of this amazing place really has a deep understanding of hospitality and comfort. This was the most memorable place we stayed in during our trip, absolutely worth to stay in!
Still a place that gives a impression of service like we have returned home. Even if we wake up late Breakfast is less left Still trying to go to the kitchen to cook more food to eat What can make? Hurry to make it immediately It is a place that I want to go back and forth, like going home to relatives 🥰

The hotel consists of two buildings. The one closer to the sea is older. The furniture is tired, the room is a bit dark. Across the road - newer. Rooms with access and views of the pool. Everything is fine! Very good breakfasts. The sea is nearby. Several swimming pools.
One of the minuses is that very few rooms have stairs to the pool. We did not have. It is inconvenient to get out of the pool, you can slip. The pillows are very high and hard. I never found one that was comfortable for me, although there are four of them. There is very little gel and shampoo in the bath (one small bottle is poured upon request). There is no hair conditioner. One small soap.

Our stay at Merlin Khao Lak was pretty great. We had a week there, and sincerely enjoyed the feeling of staying in a contained and nicely taken care of rain forest by the beach.
The location was nearly perfect, but the beach itself wasn't very swimmable (beginning of rain season, to be fair). Fortunately, there were other beaches on the same coast that were nicer during the same time of year, so we did get time in the sea water. Even without sea swimming, the ambience from the waves and the sunsets made the beach plenty nice for us at Merlin. There is also a variety of nicepy kept pools to enjoy, though I typically don't enjoy pools personally.
Service/food were both nice as well. The staff was pleasant enough, but it did feel weird that an ecologically minded resort had the least meat/dairy alternatives of any of the several resorts/hotels we stayed at. I found ordering curries with no seafood or meat simple though, and they were mostly still good. The massaman curry was a miss, but everything else I tried was quite good for resort food!
We really loved the touch of the room's default tv channel being an info channel about the resort's wildlife and maintenance. That, plus the several info booklets allowed us to have a more guided and knowledgeable experience while sightseeing on the exceptional grounds. It was really fun running into others who were also just having a look around and waiting to see a different animal pop up.
We enjoyed our stay. Next time we'd likely come back, while also spending some time up the coast a bit.
We booked this 5 star resort and had a 3 star experience.pros and cons. Pros The staff were lovely, Nam and Yada were very friendly and looked after us very well in the Beach Bar restaurant. The A la Carte menu was large and the food was excellent. Smoothies were lovely and the wine was reasonable. In hindsight though I wish we had booked half board or bed and breakfast. Plenty of staff on reception. Great aircon Cons: All inclusive didn’t mean everything was all inclusive. Room service, the Japanese restaurant (the nearest bar to beach) and the drinks sold on the hotel beach were not included. Kids in the gym!!!!! Health and safety issues re the pool Not enough sun beds and no amenities on the lovely beach Limited draw space in the room, poor lighting in bathroom Too many unruly kids in the evening in the restaurant and hotel management invisible. I am still waiting for Tui and Kalima to respond to my complaint ref no 12244212 Tips Just book bed and breakfast, use as a base. Walk 10 minutes to the left down to the beach and spend your money with Farmai and Lanna. Local people with hearts of gold! Only book a week and move to a different location for your second week.
First time to Khao Lak. Only 1 hour car from Phuket Airport.
The hotel has private beach, spa & massage , cafe, restaurant and bar.
Nice and big public pool (some suite come with private pool). This place not crowded as in Phuket city . Suit for Solo, Family and with buddies .
Hotel staff are very friendly and warm to be here.
Especially thanks to staff named Kig & Praew ! 👍🏻
It's very good accomodation butnot far away from Taplamu pier. If you have your own transport is good.. If not it's a little difficult with taxi: grab, bolt and indrive is not working there. But you can ask the staffs to help to call taxi but before more than 20-30 minutes. The room condition are very good: good AC , comfortable mattress, hot water, drinking water, even fridge and TV.
Convenient and Cost-Effective: A Stay at B.M.P Resort, Lam Kaen
B.M.P Resort in Lam Kaen, Thailand, serves as a prime example of a practical and economical lodging choice, especially for travelers looking for a brief respite without sacrificing comfort or accessibility. During my stay, the resort proved to be a perfect pit stop, offering good value and convenience that exceeded my expectations.
Firstly, the resort's ability to accommodate late-night check-ins was a major plus. Arriving well after midnight, I was pleased to find the process smooth and hassle-free, a relief for any traveler weary after a long journey. The room I stayed in was notably well-kept, with clean bedding and well-maintained furniture, providing a comfortable and restful environment that is often not expected at such budget-friendly accommodations.
Secondly, the location of B.M.P Resort is exceptionally strategic for those heading to Khao Lak for liveaboard adventures departing from Taplamu Pier. Positioned midway between Phuket International Airport and the bustling Bang Niang Marketstreet, and near Taplamu Pier, it serves as an ideal base for tourists. This central location not only cuts down on travel time but also helps in managing travel expenses effectively, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious divers and sightseers alike.
In conclusion, B.M.P Resort offers a practical stay without the hefty price tag. Its strengths in late-night service availability and strategic positioning make it a commendable choice for those in transit or preparing for marine excursions out of Khao Lak. The resort effectively combines simplicity with functionality, providing all the essentials needed for a comfortable and convenient stay.
We arrived at the HotSpring Beach Resort at the end of June '23, just a week after a new General Manager had started his new role - something we found out because he was actively meeting and greeting guests and will obviously be a great asset to the resort. He is overseeing a huge number of renovations and upgrades due for completion by the end of 2023 - and so any older reviews that speak of the resort needing some attention will now likely be redundant as the place is undergoing a major - and impressive - facelift. We were thrilled by our spacious room, the fantastic hot spring pools and the excellent contrast of the icy 'chill' pool (a rarity in Thailand, where refreshingly cold water to dip in is not so common). The staff were friendly and courteous throughout, and the grounds all the way to the beach are quite wonderful. Of course, in any transformation there is always something that still needs tweaking. Our two recommendations to the resort would be to enhance the taste and the number of vegetarian options of breakfast, which was generally a little on the bland side (though we ate two a la carte dinners at the resort restaurant which were outsanding and quite delicious). The other recommendation is to keep the beach free of the relentless flow of plastic and other garbage which the sea washes up. Although this is so common everywhere, and certainly not the fault of the resort, the beach gets a daily deposit of bottles and other plastics, and it would be great to see some efforts being made to collect and tidy the beach area as it's not huge, and this would certainly be an hour well-spent. Overall, highly recommended for a stay here - it's a unique place with such relaxing waters and the sense you're in the middle of a tropical forest with secret thermal springs just waiting to be discovered. If you're there in low season of June/Jule like us, then you won't see too many other people around and you can enjoy a lot of peace and quiet. Definitely worth a visit!

Lampee waterfall
KK jj lazyLampi Waterfall is located in Khao Lampi-Hat Thai Mueang National Park, Tambon Thai Mueang, Amphoe Thai Mueang, Phang Nga Province. The source of the water comes from the Lampi mountain range. The waterfall has 4 levels, each level flowing down in cascades. The lowest level is a natural pool. In addition, the nature around the waterfall is still abundant and full of green forest. For Phang Nga that is not a beach destination, Lampi Waterfall is a must-see natural attraction. However, it is about 14 kilometers away from the park office. But if you want to change the atmosphere of the sea, see the waterfall view, and go hiking, this is the place to go. It is definitely worth it.
Orchard
AAmandaThis is the first time I saw grapes of this color, see Figure 4, they are called "Red Rose" grapes. They are said to be extremely rare, with very low yields and a super good taste, so the price is ridiculously expensive. It's not like you are eating fruit, it's like you are chewing cash in your mouth.
Khao Tam Chuak
东东张西望望东西There are not many tourists, which is a bit unexpected for us. It is a typical place with few people and good scenery. The sea view is particularly beautiful. The turquoise water is very impressive. It is worth visiting.
Sea Turtle Conservation Center
JJum-JimLet's see the turtles. Don't forget to stop by to take photos at the beach as well. White sandy beach, calm waves, beautiful, the water is very pleasant to play. Here there will be turtles and dolphins. Made of recycled water bottles, let us take beautiful photos. together
Komol‘s Corner Bamboo Rafting

Royal Thai Navy Third Fleet Sea Turtle Nursery - Phang Nga
JJum-JimSea Turtle Conservation Center is located on the beach. The atmosphere is great In the evening, after watching the turtles, tourists come to swim at the beach here. Come to one place, get 2 things, that's good.
