Wyndham Garden Texarkana

The hotel was decent. Wyndham’s are normally cleaner so I expected more but It was more of an older hotel!

Lobby was fully of guests for over 3 hours trying to check in with only 1 at front desk, seemed like some guest had reservations booked online and it wasn't in the system after 1 hour. thankfully, got room keys, but the rooms card reader was not working. then discovered it was working for room next door. after explaining to the front desk, got a completely different room. The AC seem to not work great, but was enough to sleep. the breakfast was very weak coffee and a pack of breakfast cookies. Is this what they call contenital these days? this hotel is ran by Krank Hospitality. sure they are running more, hopefully they will improve the breakfast.

Amenities as advertised in room were not there, was supposed to be a smoke free facility our room smelt like a giant ash tray. No place to hang clothes, trash in drawers, no hot water the night of the 15th, no seat in shower for disabled though shower was to ADA, no place to put soap or shampoo. This was an open walk in shower wheel chair accessible. Will NOT stay at another Wyndham hotel. They had 2people working, only one checking people in I felt sorry for him, kudos to him. The other needs to be fired.

You, like me, might be on a roadtrip and book this hotel because you trust the Wyndham name. Don’t do it We waited over an hour to check in. At first, I Blamed the angry customer—but the clerk had an issue with every booking. There was a line of over seven people, all angry, other workers literally came and watched, but did not help. When we finally got a room, it smelled like an old bar. I tool pictures—every corner was gross, dirty, and/or crumbling. The pool area looked like the before shot of a pool makeover. Truly-Wyndham should be embarrassed. Do not stay here. SO GROSS

Hot tub doesn’t work, not clean, stains on our towels and sheets, everything is dated and broken. The side door doesn’t lock creating an unsafe place. Not what u would expect from a Wyndham place

As soon as I walked in the lobby, the smell was bad, like cleaner and deodorizer, covering something. The walls behind check in need paint and patching, found dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor, and small garbage in the room. There was a used washcloth still hanging from the shower dry. My room had a more intensified. Smell then found in the lobby like orange cleaner and diarrhea combined. It appeared only one elevator was working, the panel with the buttons was loose and looked like they used to tape at one points to keep it from rocking back-and-forth. The pool water was very cloudy, and my skin itched after I got out. The hot tub was not working and looks like it hadn’t been used in quite a while. The pool deck I had rust stains and green algae growing underneath a few of the chairs where there was wet spots. There was also an outlet in the pool area without a cover with wires that were capped off, but accessible, the tub was very very slow to drain. Taking a shower. I was standing in 4 inches of water before my shower was over. The only news station on the TV was CNN, boo.

Very old hotel, the elevator panel is falling apart and it shakes, the room keycard slots are wonky, the night shift lady was super helpful and sweet though! Wifi is ass, the rooms smell old, overall it should be cheaper for what you get, I'd pay the extra $8 and go to Baymont across the street. No free coffee in lobby it's $4

Staff was friendly, and the room was clean enough, but the mattress was the stiffest, hardest I've ever tried to sleep on.

Now a day everyone has to be careful where one stays, but room was okay it had this smell in the room I had to spray perfume just to sleep. Other than that bed were comfortable
