Hampton Inn & Suites Texarkana

We came in town for a funeral and this hotel was awesome. The room was spacious and inviting. The set up the room was great. Considering what we came in town for, coming back to the hotel everyday was great.

Pool was closed when we got there, it was th only reason we booked this hotel. Breakfast was the worst I have ever head. Milk was watered down and warm, no batter for waffles, very bad

The refrigerator was frozen up and not working when we got there. I called downstairs but she couldn’t do anything because she was there by herself. We unplugged it, it defrosted and started working but was freezing up by the next morning. I told the desk clerk about it when I left, so they could fix it. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine when it was running so we had to turn it off for the night. The bed slept good. There needed to be more plug ins.

Amazingly well kept- great staff. Comfortable and convenient. Impressive.

I would give it a 6. Just average, a little overpriced for cleanliness, smells, age of furnishings.

We asked for extra pillows and after looking told us they didn't have any. I felt like they just didn't want us having them.

Elevator under repair, had to get employee every time we wanted to go up or down. Coffee maker in room did not work.

It was awful. The elevators did not work, the door to our room was broken. The phone did not work. No shampoo. Ran out of eggs at the breakfast. The place was a total disaster
