The room ws clean but someone stole money out of my friends car and they did nothing about it

Please listen to me, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I am a cheap travel person, I’ve stayed at more than a dozen hotels. This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. First off the lady at the desk knew three words, not trying to be rude but I couldn’t even talk to her about anything going on. Once you get pass the lobby It stinks, generally smells of musk and funk. The fan came on but The A/C doesn’t work which is awful because the WHOLE building is so hot, like, sticky air hot. Not to mention the vibes it’s self made me scared to sleep there. I Constantly felt my skin crawling and where as I didn’t see any bugs it wouldn’t have surprised me. It was not clean at all the pillow cases and sheet had dark stains and red stains, we actually did not use two of the pillows and took one of the sheets off the bed. The doors had large what I hope was dirt marks. The floors obviously hadn’t been swept in a few days. Restroom was gross. Walls had markings, there was literally so much. The weirdest thing was the elevator had a motion detector smell release thing TAPPED to the wall. I have low standards, I can’t believe I didn’t leave honestly I should have taken the loss on my money. Absolutely ZERO out of five.

Cons: The parking lot wasn't in great repair. Our room was infested with fruit flies. The bed was firm/hard. The complimentary breakfast didn't have any meat/egg options and was bland. It was very disappointing. It caused us to have to find breakfast elsewhere which added an unexpected expense to our trip. The microwave in the room looked like it was over 30 years old. The pool was outside and in full sun. It didn't feel accessible and with 80-90+ degree temps with high humidity, it was ripe for sunburns to happen as no shade was apparent. Pros: A/C worked great. Room was clean until the fruit flies arrived. It is a clear case of you get what you pay for.
