Great place, fabulous staff, beautiful and peaceful setting. This is our second stay. Sadly they are dumping their sewage into the Tesque creek and when we were there-we were stopped by protesters in cold 30 degree weather who explained what was going on. The whole community has signs up while driving in and out. Not great for a luxury resort. For that I must take a star off. They need to fix this before we can come back and make this right for the community. They clearly have to the money. It makes me wonder how they are approaching the rest of their communities around the globe.

Beautiful resort and outstanding customer service. My room was large and had charming southwest appointed decor. They provide premium bottled water, coffee maker with coffee, and local snacks for free. The grounds were breathtaking and the staff where there to accommodate your needs. I would have rated this resort higher if i knew before booking that it would be a four-story hilly hike to my guestroom. You can arrange someone to pick you up by golf cart, but I found it to be inconvenient because you had to wait to be picked up and the driver expected a tip for each time you wanted to go to and from your room. I also wasn't aware that pool and hot tub would be closed for renovation. At a minimum they should have offered a free dinner for two because you are paying for the amenities. The staff are amazing and are very pleasant to engage. They all seem so happy to be working there, and it shows. We had two minor facility issues, and the staff came up immediately to rectify them. I really appreciated that they provided us with late check out at 12PM instead of 11AM. The lodge did offer free yoga at 9:00 am but i didn't participate. The weather was windy and chilly and not conducive to outside activities My concerns are below: -I was disappointed because my hacienda was all the way up the hill, and it wasn't easily accessible. I was very winded by the time I walked from the parking lot to the room. I think there should be e-bikes or scooters offered so we are able to traverse to the room. They have magical lighting at night, and you can see the stars twinkle. However, the path to my room was not well lit and could be a hazard. If you have mobility issues, I would not recommend this resort. Many hills and stairs to traverse. -One night, turn down service came at 8:30 PM which to me was too late since I was already in the shower preparing to go to bed. -The pool and hot tub were out of service, and I was not told that when booking. I wouldn't have used the pool, but the hot tub would have been nice. Overall, I would happily book at another Auberge resort, but Bishop's Lodge wasn't for me. It's a matter of my personal preference

We first visited just before Christmas 2023, and loved it so much that we came back in 2024, for a longer stay over Christmas. Such an amazing time! What stood out to me was the attention to detail of the staff. They are friendly and professional at the same time, and they truly went above and beyond in a couple of instances. We will be back!

Bishop’s Lodge in Santa Fe is an absolute gem! From the moment you pull up, the views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains take your breath away, and the vibe is so warm and inviting. It’s the perfect mix of historic charm and modern luxury. The rooms are gorgeous—super cozy and beautifully designed with a Southwest feel that doesn’t feel overdone. You can tell a lot of thought went into the little details, like the art and furnishings. It’s one of those places where you feel right at home but still totally spoiled. The food? Incredible. The SkyFire restaurant serves up amazing dishes with fresh, local ingredients. Whether it’s breakfast with a view or a romantic dinner, every meal feels special. You’ll want to try everything on the menu. And if you’re into relaxing, the spa is a must. The treatments are inspired by local traditions, and it’s such a peaceful escape. Plus, there’s no shortage of activities—hiking, horseback riding, fly fishing, yoga—you name it. The property itself is huge and perfect for exploring, or just soaking in the stunning scenery. What really makes the place stand out is the staff. They’re so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back. Overall, Bishop’s Lodge is one of those places you don’t forget. Whether you’re there to chill, explore, or celebrate something special, it’s got everything you need for an amazing getaway. Highly recommend!

We had a truly 5-star experience. I went with my two boys. Room in bunkhouse was beautiful, spacious and clean. Service was excellent. There were tons of on site activities including archery, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, art classes and yoga (all except horseback riding was included in the resort fee). Food in the restaurant was amazing. We did not like the sandwiches in the cafe but there were definitely better quick options at the pool and bar menus. I liked the shuttle service into town. And the best of all was the veiw from my porch. We will definitely be back!

I stayed at Bishop's Lodge for a senior year friends trip and it was everything I could have hoped for! Staff were all lovely and extremely helpful and the lodge itself was beautiful and relaxing. Favorite activities included hiking on the various trails on hotel property, the Silversmithing class, and a relaxing spa day complete with massages! The hotel provides complimentary transportation the 10 minutes into downtown Santa Fe, which is extremely convenient for exploring all of the culture the area has to offer.
