Zeer vriendelijke en efficiënte ontvangst, prima plekje voor onze fietsen, gratis privéparkeerplaats voor onze auto, ruime kamer (benedenkamer, keuze: ofwel heel donker ofwel weinig privacy), goed ontbijtbuffet met een extra eitje met spek. Heel rustige buurt. Situeert zich op anderhalve kilometer van het centrum. Goed prijs-kwaliteitsniveau. 1 kleine suggestie: graag waterkoker voor koffie/thee voorzien.

Triniteit is een vriendelijk hotel, kleinschalig met een persoonlijke benadering door de dames die er werken. Ze zijn oprecht geïnteresseerd in je wel en wee, wat je gaat doen. En ze vragen je altijd of je een gebakken ei wil. Met de kamers is niets mis, alles zit erin en het werkt ook nog. Waaronder de airco, die onlangs is vernieuwd. Dat geldt helaas ook voor de prijs van het ontbijt. Dat zit nu op Vd Valk-niveau (17,50). Helaas heeft het lang niet dezelfde kwaliteit en variatie. Behalve de croissants en de koffie komt alles uit knijptubetjes (bleh), en veel variatie in het beleg is er niet. Een tip: boek niet te ver van tevoren. Onaangekondigde prijsverhogingen zijn bepaald niet uit te sluiten. De klantvriendelijkheid neemt duidelijk af hierdoor, net zoals het voordeel op andere hotels. Na vier keer hier vind ik het tijd voor elders.

De kamer was klein maar voldoende voor 1 persoon. Alles was aanwezig. Ik genoot van de rust in de omgeving en heb aan geocaching gedaan. Ik genoot van het uitzicht van de schepen die voorbij vaarden. De chef gaf aan tijdens het weekend geen eten te serveren omdat iedereen buitenshuis eet en er dus geen nood was in het hotel om daar te kunnen eten. Hij heeft desondanks deze regel toch een tosti op mijn bord getoverd. Die was heerlijk.
