Caparica Azores Ecolodge
4.6/525 Reviews
Positive: Beautiful plant in the forest, on the hang. Friendly reception, good breakfast, beautiful pool. Negative: The concept is good, but unfortunately poorly implemented. The bags are pulled up by the staff; the planned transport lift is only complete to 98% ...! You have to get down on the end of the time. Absolute tranquility and separation are promoted. But parents are stayed with young children who do missing playground everywhere. The only shovel is in the middle of the breakfast room, the pool is now planchbäcken ... Full rest! Shopping and restaurant only available with taxi or car. The small refrigerator is designed as a minibar and full. So it is not suitable for self-catering. But it is not a topic because it doesn't have cooking option anyway. Only water cookers are available. If you can live so quiet and divorced, you don't need lunch, nor dinner ... So we just enjoyed bought sandwiches and found the rest on other Azores.
Hotel Teresinha

Very nice hotel, well-equipped with a beautiful pool and a clean garden. Taktic position because it is just a few steps from the center and the beach, with internal parking for the cars (if you come back late night you might find it full, but there is so much space in the street and the car is needed on these The staff is very friendly and willing to meet the client's demands. We were lucky for the apartment because we had a garden view, very quiet and at the first floor with balcony: spacious and clean (weather change possible even every day by wishing). Very recommended!
Quinta do Espírito Santo
4.6/52 Reviews
During my 2-week trip around Portugal, Quinta do Espirito Santo is the most favorite. It is not only just a place for a stay but a place providing an authentic experience with the stories of Terceira Island. I stayed 2 memorable days here with Francisco -the owner who is also a very knowledgeable history teacher and museum director, and his wife, just like one of their family members. The manor itself (including the hotel's main buildings, subordinate houses, and a lovely tropical garden) is a mirror of the island's background, speaking to the maritime history and the special geographical position of this island. All the furniture and decorations have their own stories and histories. The host couple is very friendly, helpful, and talkative, and we always had very interesting talks. The rooms are very clean and atmosphere. This is a unique oasis of Terceira and Azores which makes a trip very unusual.
My Angra Charming House
4.6/519 Reviews
This bed and breakfast absolutely lived up to its name! Once a hostel in Angra do Heroísmo, it is now a boutique hotel with wonderfully bright and cozy common areas. Breakfast is included, walking distance to downtown, and everything is spotless, but the very best were the staff! Laura Almeida at reception was so attentive and helpful with everything, checking in often to ensure we had everything we needed. She encouraged us to see many things we might have written off due to weather, and we were so glad that we took her advice! She is definitely the jewel in the crown 👑
Hotel Varandas do Atlântico by Ridan Hotels
4.3/550 Reviews
The hotel is right in front of the beach and harbour. It is clean and the staff are friendly. They will give you towels for the beach if you ask A room with a sea and harbour view is worth paying the extra for. Breakfast is nice but the same every day. You can catch the bus to other areas of the island, which is easy and only a few euros. Only 10 minutes from the airport. You can get the bus for a euro or taxi for 10 euros. Restaurants and bars are close by. Managed to find some vegetarian food but not much. The local wine is nice and low priced. Little fridge in the room for cold drinks but no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
