My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Little Dane Court for a weekend, whilst attending our god daughter’s wedding. We had stayed there 12 years ago, just as the current host, had taken over and had thoroughly enjoyed our stay then, hence the rebooking. Very pleased that we did as the B&B lived up to all expectations and beyond. We stayed in the Front room, where we had stayed before and slept well in very comfortable beds. The ensuite bathroom needs to be seen to be believed and the bath is certainly the centre point of the room, is it possible to have bath envy? The whole house is fascinating mixture of historical periods, which our host, Rod, was only too happy to talk about. The atmosphere is relaxed, calm and friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the enclosed quiet patio, as well as walking around the Japanese garden. Breakfasts are relaxing and friendly with lots of opportunity to chat to other guests, if that’s what you want. I and our friends very much enjoyed the cooked breakfast, however there was no meat alternative for vegetarians. Rod is a VERY charming host with a wonderful dry sense of humour, who went above and beyond to make our stay particularly enjoyable and relaxing. We will certainly stay there again and would highly recommend this a great place to stay.
