Firstly the reception we received on arrival, and later from the owner, Seonaid, showed the professional and caring ethos of the place. It has lovely public areas, a welcoming snug, a courtyard garden to while away drinking and talking of course, and the restaurant area which gave space to tables you don’t always get, Food wise, very high quality, both the evening menu and the Continental buffet breakfast gave great satisfaction. And the extensive wine list should also be mentioned positively. Every area was spotlessly clean, our bedroom was very comfortable with high end accessories and walk in shower, As a place to stay while doing the Railway, or the Wine-tasting circuit, it was ideal, It is a place we will visit and stay for our next visit to the area.

Some of the best food we have had in this locality in 15 years living in kent. Local, high quality produce, cooked beautifully. Great dining atmosphere. Friendly staff looked after us brilliantly and made us very welcome. Thank you for a lovely evening out. We will be back soon. Very highly recommend.

We sat in the garden and was greeted with a warm welcome from the owner. Cold refreshing water was brought to our outside table straightaway. We chose a chapel down baccus wine which was lovely and the food was exceptional. I had the seafood spaghetti followed by the sticky date pudding with lemon meringue ice cream. It was sooooo good. As I say the food was on point and that dessert was so sexy oh my it was lovely. I was so relaxed I could of stayed there all day. The service was exceptional and friendly. We will return again and again. The garden is warming I love it. Thank you Victoria

A friendly welcome; and we checked in early. Our room was very clean, tidy and well appointed with a lovely en suite and comfortable bed. It was very warm and a fan was provided as there was no air con. The Type-setters room is at the front of the building and because of that there is some traffic noise from the busy junction directly outside. There was a continental breakfast included which was ok but at this price point I would've expected a cooked breakfast to have be included not an optional extra.

charming inn, great dinner, perfect location for visiting the great dixter and sissinghurst castle, shona ia a perfect host - and tenterden is a lovely town - don’t skip it. parking in tenterden can be a bit awkward and driving on the roads of kent can be a white-knuckled experience - but it was worth it. don’t miss the pastries at judges bakery in tenterden

We enjoyed a weekend at the print house for our anniversary. We had a warm welcome on arrival and benefitted arriving early enough to obtain a prime parking spot outside the front of the B&B. We booked the chapel down experience, including a 3 course set meal at the B&B plus taxi and chapel down tour. There was a little confusion around our experience at chapel down, the taxi was late but we did manage to arrive ahead of our tour time. The location is ideal if you are interested in visiting the local vineyards! The chapel down set menu for dinner, although had nice seasonal options, would benefit from a pub classic within the condensed menu. For the breakfast we were advised it was continental but due to my dietaries it meant the menu was more limited. It would have been brilliant to have an upgrade option for a cooked breakfast within the package options. The room was eclectically decorated, which leaned into the B&Bs charm, however there were a few areas that could have had more attention when cleaning. Overall a pleasant weekend away and would recommend!

A lovely place to stay especially as it was close to Chapel Down. The rooms are clean and well appointed with some quality soaps to wash and shower with. Always nice to have a bottle of water in the room along with the welcome chocolates. The décor in the lounge is a little quirky but always pleasing to find somewhere that is different from the norm. A good area to just relax, read or have an early evening drink just before a meal. The restaurant has a condensed menu predominately making use of locally sourced products, which is also a plus, and be able to focus on providing a better quality meal as opposed to having a too wide a range of choices. A nice buffet breakfast sets you up for the day ahead. An excellent choice of a place to stay for an overnight stop as the Print House covers all your needs.

My wife and I stayed at the Print House, Tenterden following a marvellous visit to the nearby Chapel Down Vineyard. Situated at one end of the main road running through Tenterden it is ideally placed if you are visiting the Vineyard and wish to participate in the tours offered there as it is only a £15 cab ride away. Warmly welcomed by the owner on arrival, we were shown to our room and the 16th Century public house has been lovingly renovated with high quality fixtures and fittings in the bathrooms. We stayed in the Printers Block room which is at the rear of the property which was entirely sufficient for are overnight stay. We at the restaurant and chose from the pub classics and both the fish & chips and the burger were extremely good and definitely value for money. I would certainly recommend the place as it is so close for visiting Chapel Down.
