Picture Story, 1974: "Patriotism in All Forms" —Staying at the Tengchong Anti-Japanese War Veterans Reception Center On the eve of September 3rd, I returned to Tengchong, a city known as a hero of the Anti-Japanese War, and stumbled upon the Anti-Japanese War Veterans Reception Center, so I stayed there. I learned that accommodation for veterans was originally free. Later, as the veterans passed away, the hotel extended a discount to their descendants. While the policy wasn't as generous as the veterans', they only charged 60% of the room rate. The hotel's theme is patriotism. First, there's a strong patriotic atmosphere. Every item, every advertisement, is centered around patriotism. The entire staff, including their CEO, Mr. Shen, thoroughly demonstrates their genuine passion for customers. For them, patriotism requires sacrifices, but it seems they don't care. This is no easy feat. I'm not advertising for them; I'm simply stating the facts. Staying here is heartwarming, and we're also receiving a patriotic education.

The room is clean, bright and odorless, with complete facilities and free parking, making it a great place for self-driving travelers. The hotel is dedicated to hosting veterans of the Anti-Japanese War and their descendants, and has a rich cultural atmosphere. It houses a collection of vintage instruments related to the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful.

The floor-to-ceiling windows are stunning. The room is spacious, clean, and simple. There's even a play area in the parking lot for the kids, which is great. The staff were also very friendly and patiently introduced me to the surrounding attractions and restaurants. The view outside the window is beautiful, and I even explored the back garden, which was quite comfortable. Anyone planning to visit Tengchong should definitely stay at this hotel! Highly recommended!

This hotel is really nice. I booked a room early in the morning and my car ran out of gas. I called the lady at the front desk and another white electric car came to pick me up. I was really touched. Then they upgraded my room on site. I could also drink delicious coffee in the lobby and there were many kinds of breakfast. They are all their specialties. I will definitely stay here again next time.

很不錯，離滇西抗戰紀念館很近，走路就可以過去，騰沖是一座英雄的城市，很震撼，下次還會去，也很涼快的城市
