Fantastic hotel. Totally value for money! Very friendly check in staff. Also the manager was very nice and helped in every way possible suggesting some fantastic restaurants for good local food. We really enjoyed our stay here. City itself does not offer much except for the volcano hot springs but perfect hotel for a day or 2. Breakfast was typical Chinese style but wholesome and had everything u would expect. Very clean and kept very well. Hopefully it does not deteriorate with age!

We were very lucky to choose Tangtangjia on our first trip to Tengchong. Our family of three stayed here for five nights, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and delicious food of Tengchong, and also felt the considerate care of the boss and the auntie in Tangtang's house. The breakfast is delicious and healthy. The room is well-equipped, clean and tidy. It is much more attentive than the B&Bs in the suburbs of Beijing! The boss is a gentle and knowledgeable woman who gave us a lot of useful travel advice. Tickets, chartered cars, and travel routes can all be booked with the boss. It is worth mentioning that there are four docile and cute puppies in the small courtyard.
