Good review, it is the largest hotel near the airport, and provides free airport pick-up and drop-off service. The room is large and very close to the airport. It is very convenient to go to the airport. If you catch an early flight, it is worth recommending.

This hotel made our avernight stay wonderful. Shuttle on time! Indian food delicious! Room service and restaurant! Spacious room! Added cot for our third family member. Lots of hot water. 2 toilets. No stress! Staff exceptional. Especially front desk.

More or less standard venue, Good for a night after arrival in Dar. We used the pick up service, which was a bit late and full. Reception adaquate and friendly, rooms at the back were good enough. The restaurant on the evening as well as for breakfast good.

The hotel is a five to ten minutes drive from/to the airport and it offers complimentary airport transfers. These are the strengths of the hotel. The front desk staff didn't seemed to be very interested in working. The room was large but in very average condition. I would only choose this hotel if I need to be close to the airport.

Dar es Salaam transit stay. Got to hotel 1 am, left for in country flight on their (free) shuttle at 6 am. Staff was friendly, room was clean and great, AC worked well. Just what you want for a short stay: close to the airport, no issues at all, friendly and helpful staff. Even had a packed breakfast for us!

We stayed at Hotel Blue Sapphire for two weeks. We love it and highly recommend it! There were three of us and one had his own room while two of us shared a room. It is not far from the airport so a great location. The rooms: we had two beds, a king and a full, no pull out beds. We had plenty of charging stations and a sitting area with two cushioned chairs and a sofa. There was a writing desk, a fridge, and a kettle for boiling water. Great shower and a western toilet (we liked that!). The service: every time the cleaning staff came in they not only made our beds, they cleaned and sanitized the bathroom and left us with plenty of bottled water. They replenished the coffee, tea and powdered creamer. The staff at the front desk were always friendly, despite the many copies requests I sent down to them for our room! There is a business center and a gym. There is also a laundry service. If you drop off your clothes in the morning they bring them to your room that night. The manager is friendly and always asked for feedback and was always helpful. They took great care of us! Security: this hotel has a manned gate and 24 hour armed security officer. We felt safe and were confident that our belongings in our rooms were in good hands. The restaurant: a hot breakfast buffet with eggs to order was included with the room. We typically ate dinner there at the attached Sugar & Spice Restaurant. The hotel has a definite Indian flavor and a large menu of Indian cuisine with a chef specialized in that fare. Despite that, they were sensitive to my cumin allergy. I stayed away from that part of the menu and I was fine. The manager and staff were fantastic every time, with rare hiccups. The food was amazing and we kept coming back! Highly recommend this hotel! Update: Our group stayed here again this year (2023) and my wife came with me this time. I was happy to share this experience with her. We loved our room and the staff. The hotel staff often left little decorations on our bed. Such a sweet touch!

Staff semi friendly. Wifi ok. Breakfast to go as we left 4 in the morning. Great pickup/ dropoff service to-from airport 24/7. Except for the included pick up service, this hotel is overpriced compared to others. Rooms are very, very big and clean. Make sure you get a room that is not towards the main road. Was fine for 1 night.

This was a great hotel that was booked through visittanzania4less.com tour guide services for the Serengeti. The staff and food were great and the rooms were clean and comfy. I am very pleased with the hotel and would book again.

The staff is among the friendliest I’ve encountered. We especially enjoyed hanging at the pool, surrounded by native plants and trees, listening to birds as if we were in the rain forest. The hotel security was comforting, and the central location was convenient. If I return to this city I would stay here again.

Great place to stay if you doing a flight transfer. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, the Internet working perfectly, the room service charging the prices as they do in the restaurant and the food is delightful and the portions are quite big. I was staying on my way to Zanzibar and booked again on the way back. The hotel offer free shuttle to and from the airport. Missing a swimming pool.

We searched for an airport hotel close to the DAR airport that would fit our needs. They have a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. The rooms were spacious, without mosquitos and clean. The AC worked quite well. The attached restaurant has excellent Indian curries and cuisine. I would highly recommend this for a stay after arriving late to the airport or waiting an early flight out. The only drawback is that it is quite far from downtown so I would not use it if planning a multiple day stay with tourism in mind.

The rooms are spacious, however, they have a musty smell, the couches have stains and the shower was not draining. Those with sinus problems stay away. The hotel is close to the airport and the staff are very professional and helpful. The owner needs to sort out the musty smell in the lobby and rooms and update the rooms.

To be fair, I was picked up on time at the airport with a friendly driver and nice car. Hotel is close to airport just a couple minutes away, so makes good sense for a day room or quick overnight without dealing with downtown traffic. The room was pretty clean as well. I give it a 2 star as I feel it was overpriced and they misrepresented their amenities. This hotel is between a 2-3 star at best. The hallway carpet outside my room was wet given leaky pipes. The gym is very large with free weights, etc. but extremely run down and dirty (i.e. you could literally run your finger across anything there and see the grime). No towels in the gym and a lot of defunct equipment and other random items such as shopping carts sitting about. Thankfully I had a bottle of sanitizer on hand. Additionally the hotel claims to have a spa, which they clearly do not.
