I recently stayed at The Overhang in a cabin known as The Sanctuary, and it was amazing. The Sanctuary is stunning, clean, and luxurious, offering modern comfort with rustic charm. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The location is paradise, with a pristine beach and crystal-clear waters. Highly recommend for an unforgettable beach getaway. Five stars!

We had the most amazing stay in the Beach Tent- just steps from the most idyllic beach nestled under a green cliff. The staff were helpful and attentive. The restaurant is easily 5 st☆rs. Moonlit beach, bubbly waves. An absolute gem. Perfect for surfing, kayaking. Kid friendly. The best!

I spent 3 days in a tent at the beach, during a business retreat. It was an excellent experience, being in nature, at the ocean, while having comfort and delicious food. Great service, beautiful peaceful setting. Monkeys, dikdiks, and other small wildlife roam and animate the site.

Had a lovely time on the beach tents. The tents are very comfortable, spacious and provide lots of the comforts of a room. The views are spectacular, directly on the beach. The staff were extremely helpful and went well above. The grounds are beautiful, and great to have access to a pool and bikes. I would just flag that the property is spread out and you need to go down a hill to the beach, so with people with mobility challenges that is something to think about but the property could organize a golf cart if needed.

The Overhang is an excellent staycation or workation spot. Located in the outskirts of Dar-Es-Salaam it offers a quiet place with beautiful ambience for unwinding and relaxing. The resort's culinary offerings are praiseworthy esp the breakfast menu and the sea food platter are mouthwatering. Moreover, the attentive and friendly staff go above and beyond to provide personalized service, ensuring that we felt valued and well-cared for throughout our stay. The combination of outstanding food and impeccable service created a truly unforgettable experience.

Das ist der perfekte Ort, um abends nach einem anstrengenden Tag im lauten Daressalam die Seele baumeln zu lassen und runterzukommen. Wir haben hier auch CoWorking auf unserer Terrasse gemacht, mit einer Aussicht, die atemberaubend ist. So kann man es aushalten. Man macht schon morgens mit Blick auf das Meer auf und schläft beim Rauschen des Meeres ein. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und das familiäre Ambiente und der gute Austausch mit. Locals rundet den ganzen Aufenthalt ab. Man sitzt nicht nur wunderschön mit Blick aufs Meer im Restaurant, sondern wird kulinarisch auch noch sehr verwöhnt und alles zu moderaten Preisen. Ich kann dieses Hideaway nur weiterempfehlen.
