I have been to this hotel three times now. My father was born in a village just to the north, so it was not complicated to decide. The ladies who run this place are fabulous! They don't speak much English, but if you can manage Russian, German or Polish, you will be delighted. Also, even without English, they are very kind and thoughtful. I have been here three times, and each times gets better. Telšiai is a bit dull, I'll admit. I'm thinking there's a secret Pub that nobody talks about, to which they all go. Nežinau. But you can't go wrong with Pas Stefą. Right on the lake, conveniently on Respublikos Gatvė. Lovely.
