Cucu Hotel

We stayed at the Cucu on 3 separate occasions on this visit. Each time the staff were welcoming and helpful, allowing early check in if available, otherwise storing our luggage so that we were free to wander around Tel Aviv. We were in 3 different rooms, each was spotless and comfortable with a fridge, hairdryer and safe. We chose basic rooms which are small but sufficient for a couple, as I would expect in an older hotel in the heart of the city. We had a welcoming large bottle of water on each visit. You must try the lift just for the pleasure of pressing the buttons - I challenge anyone not to smile when they do!!! The breakfast in the restaurant was excellent with a good choice on the menu. There’s a separate a la carte menu and you can upgrade if you choose. The coffee machine downstairs has great coffee and hot chocolate. There’s a choice of teas and hot and cold water. Also jars of tempting sweets in the reception - just help yourself! We found all the receptionists to be friendly and helpful, even when we arrived back to the hotel at 4.30am! Position of the hotel is excellent with plentiful shops and cafes and buses. We chose to walk everywhere - to the Carmel market and the beach (15 minutes if you can manage without a coffee or snack on the way).

My wife and I had a reservation for a romantic weekend (Thu–Sat) at the Cucu Hotel, as well as tickets to the Beit Lessin theater and the Lev cinema, both just a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel. They made a strange mistake and had no rooms available despite our confirmed reservation! All they did was apologize, offering NO COMPENSATION WHATSOEVER!! We’ve never experienced such a low level of hotel service in Israel, and we were very disappointed. If everything goes smoothly, it might be a nice hotel, but if you have any issues, expect the worst service. There are much better options in the area!

The coffee machine at the lobby, available and free for 24/7 was great. The coffee was excellent, by the way. The rooms are pretty small but well equipped. We had a beautiful balcony, disconnected from the main road. The staff is very pleasant. We loved it.

A small cute boutique hotel in Tel Aviv next to Dizengoff Center.. absolutely perfect. All details are taken care of. Staff is very attentive and kind. The room was small but perfect and with a different decoration. Everything is clean and there's a nice smell. Special place for special people.. the breakfast is served in the cafe bistro next door and is also something special and great. The staff there is so kind too and even though busy they are always smiling. The breakfast, different choices on the menu, is delicious.. So a Perfect stay.. loved it. In the reception area there's coffee and water for the clients. And in the room you'll find new bottle of water every day. Awesome

Great location at rhe dissengof square Deco its just fun, rooms are big Lovely gift details (wine and chocolate) Cleaning could be a bit better but is not bad Breckfast the best in the city a must try

Excellent little Hotel with quirky decor and super comfy beds. Everything you need in the rooms apart from maybe a couple more coat hangers (only 3!) Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful especially Nico & Max on the reception. Breakfast in Cafe Cucu is superb and again the staff are friendly, professional and efficient. Loved the stay there.
