The hotel is on a hillside. At a glance, the mountains are stacked up, which is beautiful and the view is excellent. The owner is super nice. I stayed there alone that day, and he helped me prepare dinner. There is an electric heater in the room, WIFI, and you can take a bath! (Whisperingly, the boss’s cooking skills are really good, the taste is just what I ordered)

We are newcomers to Northern Xinjiang for the first time. I originally booked this B&B because I was going to Kalajun Grassland (top 3 scenery in Ili). Unexpectedly, I accidentally bumped into Qiongkush Terrace, which ranks top 2 in Ili scenery. This B&B is on the top of a mountain. It has an excellent location. The scenery outside the window is so beautiful. Please see the accompanying picture, no photoshop. You are very close to the stars at night, and you can watch the sun rise from Tianshan Mountain in the morning! And there is also this so-called internet celebrity swing (we didn’t know about it until we arrived). It is estimated that many people go to the swing in the back mountain because of a few big Vs, but the real thing is here! The house is clean and warm. The boss is very enthusiastic and down-to-earth. To get here, you need to walk a mountainous road with many twists and turns. Remember to fill up your tank before going up the mountain. This is what the boss told us. So we arrived very late, and the boss was waiting all the time and cooked delicious food for us! The biggest surprise was going to the Wusun Ancient Trail! ! We gave up on Karajun directly. The rainforest on the Wusun Ancient Trail is simply an instant kill for Kalajun. No tickets yet. It is recommended to enter on horseback, but you can of course go on foot. If you are riding a horse, it is recommended to find a local kid friend. They will not only tell you a lot of local life stories. They also take various photos for you, which is of great emotional value!

The most satisfying thing about this trip to Yili was Qiongkushitai. The grass was still green in early August. On the way to the B&B, you will pass the Koksu Grand Canyon and see the spectacular valley. The B&B is on the top of the mountain, with a very broad view and super unbeatable mountain views. On the left is the Kalajun grassland, in front of you are the high mountains, forests and snow-capped mountains, and in front of you are soaring eagles. Saw the pink sunset. His lamb skewers are very fragrant and delicious. Don’t expect too much from the facilities in the mountain homestay, and use hot water sparingly. The Wusun Ancient Road is well worth visiting, and riding a horse through the forest stream is a very special experience. Go into the ancient trail entrance and continue walking forward. You can find the herdsmen on the roadside and pay them separately. You don’t have to go to the cabin in front to buy tickets and queue for a long time.
