I'm writing this comment a few months (désolé Murat pour le retard ..) after our stay in Cappadocia, but my two friends and I still keep wonderful memories about our four days stay in Takaev Cave Hotel. Everything was perfect, I insist : the room (lovely, confortable, well equipped and cheap), the hotel situation (Uchisar is a pretty little town, with an amazing view on the region from the terrace), the breakfast (complete and delicious) and above all, the staff. As three youngs from Switzerland, we really appreciated Murat's (the hotel owner) efforts to show us where to go hiking in beautiful places. He's been a formidable host, for what we send him great thanks. Same for his team, which has been so helpful and friendly. Thank you again !! To close, I can only recommend the Takaev Hotel to everyone (families, friends, couples, ”routards”, etc.) looking for a unforgettable stay in Cappadocia.

The view is very good, just below the Ušićsar Castle, a few minutes' walk away. On a good day, you can see the Erciyes volcano in the distance. It is only a few kilometers away from the town of Goreme. The room facilities are good, but the breakfast is awkward for Chinese people. Although there are many varieties, they are not suitable for Chinese stomachs.

It was the best staying experience. It's a shame that it was only for one night.
Not only can you see the balloons in the early morning, you can also see the beautiful Cappadocia's forward slope in the evening from both your room and the terrace.
The rooms seem to have been designed by the owner, and the interior design and custom-made furniture are very nice.
I heard that rooms with infinity pools will be available next year, so I would like to visit again.

First of all, absolutely fair and just, I have to tell you how I feel.
The hotel is in the highest place in Cappadocia, Uchir Fort. This is the most expensive hotel in Cappadocia. The best location to watch hot air balloons here is not the town of Goreme. The town is convenient for life.
1. I chose this hotel to read the online reviews very well, so I decided to try it. I just started to think that there is no red carpet photo. It seems that I am not particularly surprised. The room is not the kind of full stone special retro. Later, I found out that don’t go to live in that kind of room. Like very special, this hotel room is very large, and there is a terrace and restaurant on the first floor. The net red photos are taken by the restaurant outside.
2. The hotel room is very comfortable, clean, the location is excellent, the service is also very good, that is, it is not to step on the thunder, it is very convenient to buy things next to it, and the location of the scenery is excellent.
3. I don’t know more. I thought about changing to a special room hotel. I only knew what the gap was. I advised everyone not to look at the interior room decoration of the hotel. There was nothing except the room. I couldn’t see the scenery. It’s not clean and small. This hotel room is very big! ! !

It was only a month since I came back to think of a comment, this is a brand new hotel, the main body is a military base with a history of more than two hundred years, to be reconstructed. The proprietress SELMA was very enthusiastic and showed us all the rooms. We stayed in the cave house on the ground floor. The big bed was carved against a piece of cultural relics. It was isolated by glass and protected well. It was a great experience. The hotel adopts the service of a private butler. The whole building has four floors and is well-arranged. There is a small parking lot at the door. It is most suitable for self-driving. The hotel has three outdoor landscape terraces, which are very uniquely arranged. The top terrace is the best location for viewing. hot air balloon.
The dining service provided by the hotel restaurant is very elegant, the waiters are enthusiastic and attentive, and the breakfast categories included are rich. The restaurant’s location overlooks the panoramic view of the entire Pigeon Valley, which is suitable for chewing taste.

I don't understand why there are such high scores,
1. Facilities: There is no closed terrace in the public area, no hotel lobby or anything, all outside the open air
2. The hotel room is very dim. I thought it was very special. In fact, it was really boring. The equipment inside was a bit old.
And there's a smell as soon as you enter
3. The hotel feels like the room is provided, breakfast and change are outsourced
4, the location is to say that the hot air balloon is not bad
Personally not recommended, spend the same money to live in a better environment, or go to the town of Goreme

Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view!! Calm and quiet neighborhood. Totally worth every penny spent. Very cooperative and friendly staff.
Few tips for travelers:
Entire neighborhood has cobbled streets and is on a slope so you might want to wear shoes that do not slip :) Dragging luggage not recommended at all.
Contact hotel prior to arrival for a seamless experience, including airport transfer (at an extra charge)
If you do not speak Turkish, keep a translator app handy … staff is very cooperative and patiently waits while we use these translators to communicate our requests :)

The location is very good, it is very convenient to go to Pigeon Valley and Uchissar Castle, about ten minutes walk. The boss and the clerk are also very friendly, the luggage is too heavy, the male clerk also helped to move to the taxi waiting point, really like it. Due to catching up with Turkey's 100th National Day, I missed the plane. The boss was waiting for us at midnight and helped us book the airport to the hotel minibus. The price was the same as the original 10 euros.
The location is very advantageous. It is very convenient to go to Pigeon Valley and Uchisar Castle, which can be reached in about ten minutes' walk. The boss and the clerk were also very friendly. The luggage was too heavy and the male clerk helped move it to the taxi stand. I really like it. Because we missed the flight in time for Turkey's 100th National Day, the boss was waiting for us at midnight and helped us book a minibus from the airport to the hotel. The price was the same as the original price of 10 euros.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay at Alaturca stone house. Everything was absolutely perfect from the friendly welcome when we arrived, the beautiful central heated room and the extensive breakfast. The hotel is in a nice quiet location with car parking straight outside, its an easy walk to restaurants. The roof terrace is a great place to sit and look at the amazing view. All the staff are really kind and helpful and in 18yrs of living in Turkey the breakfast choices were the best I've ever had especially for a small hotel. I cannot think of anything I would change and will definitely stay again.

GGuest UserWe had a pleasant stay. I booked our rooms after a big holiday so the hotel was almost empty and quiet. The rooms and the breakfast were very good. The owners were very polite and resourceful. Couple things to mention, if you are booking online, make sure you call them if you prefer to stay in a room with a window. Remember, this is a cave hotel. Unfortunately, when I reserved online, I did not see it anywhere in the room description. My wife and I did not have any problem with that. But our guests were not comfortable staying in a room without a window. Although they found another room for them we decided to switch the rooms. That night, the air-conditioner in our room had a problem. The owner (Hakan) was kind to offer us another room which was larger and better. I definitely recommend this hotel. You can watch the air balloons from the rooftop terrace. It is lovely to sit and watch the sunrise and sunset from there.

The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of Uchisar Castle, being a perfect place to stay while experiencing the fascinating Cappadocia. The host, Hilal, is very kind, speaks English and helps you discover the most interesting places in Cappadocia. The hotel has a rooftop with pillows, tables and chairs, where you can stay and enjoy the surroundings, either day or night. There is another terrace, where you can have breakfast or spend your time. The room and facilities are very good. For those who come by car, there is a parking right next to the hotel.

GGuest UserEverything was perfect from start to finish, We arrived to a warm welcome from the hotel manager who kindly gave us some delicious soup, we were then showed to our room even though we had arrived a few hours befor the check in time. The room was amazing, spotlessly clean with beautiful views, some extra balloons and flowers had been put in the room as we had informed the hotel we were staying for our honeymoon, Soon after we had settled there was a knock on the door and one of the staff gave us a congratulations sign with some gifte and treats from the hotel we were very touched at how thougtful this was. The hotel manager had kindly booked and arranged all of the activities that we had requested which we throughly enjoyed. All of the staff were exceptional, and made us feel welcome, The breakfast was delicious, we had fresh eggs cooked every morning with a huge selection of savory snacks and sweet cakes to choose from. The building has so much charm and charecter, the gardens were beautiful and peaceful. I could go on and on about how perfect our experience was! We could not recommend this hotel enough for a unique and unforgettable stay! Thank you to everyone at karlik Evi for making our honeymoon better than we ever imagined :) We hope to come and visit you all again, All the best Melissa and Ben xx

GGuest UserThe room was large and the front desk service was very warm and always smiled and greeted us and helped us take our luggage to the room. We booked a 70-square-meter suite with windows on the small balcony outside the room. In fact, there is a 45-square-meter suite next to it. There are windows and you can face the outside scenery, which makes me feel more comfortable and breathable. Staying at the cave hotel will have the ash on the wall to fall. This must be psychologically expected when you check in, otherwise you will feel that the room is not clean. The hotel is located below Uchisar Castle and is the commanding height of the entire town. The location is excellent. Breakfast is rich and hygienic, and will be served after 9 o'clock.

The hotel itself should be 5 stars- the room is so clean, stunning design & all amenities available. The rooftop seating has an incredible view & the breakfast each morning is amazing/so delicious! I felt safe & 100% content/happy with my stay. Ahmet, hotel manager, is so wonderful & accommodating to whatever I needed. All tours were on time & very professional. I took the hotel shuttle to & from the airport which was convenient. I recommend this hotel to all friends & family!!

Çay, kahve ve bardakları da ikram olarak koymuşlar. Hızlı ve kesintisiz interneti ücretsiz kullandık. Odaların dokusu doğayla uyumlu, tüm mobilyalar ahşaptı. Odalarda sigara içilmiyor ve her her gün isteğe bağlı olarak temizleniyordu. Kapadokyanın merkezi olabilir burası çünkü her yere erişim kolaydı. Bir iki alt sokakta otobüs durakları var. Hem merkeze yakın hem gezilmesi gereken yerlere yürüyerek bile erişebilirsiniz. En önemli şeylerden biri de fiyat konusu. Bu fiyatlara bu oteli kaçırmayın. Biz ayrıldık bugün ama kalbimizi orada bıraktık. Tüm Aysultan Stone House ailesine yürekten teşekkür ederiz.

We just got back to london after staying in one of the most beautiful place in Turkey and amazing cave hotel, Harem suites in cappadocia. The hotel is beautiful and the service from the staff is exceptional. We had a clean room. Water was provided all the time. Breakfast had many options. Mustafa was very friendly and helpful.
