The Mountilla Resort

I have never come across such an unprofessional and disgraceful attitude in the hospitality industry as I did with Mountilla in Kanatal. When I reached out to inquire about booking a room, the person, Monika on the other end was shockingly arrogant, ill-mannered, and completely unfit to be in this business. Instead of answering my basic queries politely like any decent resort would, they spoke to me in the most disrespectful and rude manner imaginable. To my utter disbelief, they even had the audacity to tell me not to book a room at their resort — as if anyone would willingly visit a place run by such untrained, classless staff. If this is how they treat potential guests on a simple phone call, I can't even imagine the nightmare of actually staying there. This place is a stain on the name of hospitality and should be avoided at all costs. There are far better, more respectful resorts in Kanatal who actually value their customers. Absolute disgrace. Never again.

Staff was very polite and professional, property was also clean and beautiful to roam around. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Nice property, beautiful mountain view but highly overpriced. Rooms was quiet good. I have opted for the premium room but to my view lower categories rooms like Deluxe and Super Deluxe rooms were similar with no difference and comes in lower price. So, my room was highly overpriced. However, staff was courteous and owner or manager was also nice and acknowledged the high price online and made our one of the dish complementary. Breakfast was complementary with the booking and was good in taste.

A very warm welcome by the staff.. excellent stay...mouth watering food..clean room and washroom..nice view from the balcony.. peaceful environment

Nice property, excellent hospitality. Great food, staff is pretty good n have a helping nature, good amenities.

Place is very good, peaceful and serene but not worth 10k per day price. Food was good. Overall very nice experience but price is over hyped
