One of my best moments with the lovely staff. After reading an article about the 15 most beautiful pools from Marriott, I was intrigued to choose Westin Himalaya as my birthday trip destination. It was an absolutely fantastic decision. The property itself is breathtaking, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible warmth and care displayed by the staff. From the moment I arrived, I could sense their genuine dedication to ensuring a memorable experience for every guest. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to several individuals who made my stay truly exceptional. Ms. Pedenla at the front desk deserves special recognition for her assistance during check-in, which made settling in a breeze. The surprise birthday decorations arranged by the housekeeping team added a personal touch that made me feel truly valued. For a refreshing morning, make sure to join the yoga class held at 6:30 AM in the front yard. The experienced yoga instructor made it easy to follow, and it was a delightful experience. The dining experience at the resort was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish we tried was a culinary delight, and the kindness and professionalism of the F&B team elevated the experience even further. Ms. Lilly, with her beautiful smile, always ensured a warm welcome at Akasa, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. Ms. Priyanka's menu suggestions were invaluable, helping me confidently navigate the local cuisine. Special thanks also to Mr. Kamal, Ankit, and Anshul for their great efforts in enhancing my dining experience. And, of course, my gratitude extends to the talented chefs whose creations delighted my palate with every bite. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Westin Himalaya for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience in the Himalayan foothills. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday celebration truly memorable. I can't wait to return for another extraordinary stay.

The location ambience is perfect for a vacation but what could elevate the experience of our stay made us feel really uncomfortable and disheartened. We were greeted by unpleasant smiles of the front desk Aditi who was very rude to us and made our checkin procedure an hour long due to another person with a same name she denied us of our basic requirements and wasn't very helping. However the staff at the resturant covered it up with help of Shiza, Priyanka, Ankit Roshni, specially Chef Sunisha from Thailand who prepared her spl tofu starter without onion and garlic for my mother in law. The lag of reception n room service was what made us wonder how this property is being tagged with giants of Marriott.

This is a honest review and I wish someone had posted this before we planned our trip. It's a beautiful hotel no doubt but don't be fooled by the name. You dont really see any awesome himalaya view from the room. The pool view sure is great but the pool.view rooms are mostly.higher end suites. So if you book a normal room forget any great views. We had a very avg view . Further there are no open Lawns or anything like that in this property as it's built on height level and not width level. So no large open grounds for you to roam around just keep taking the loft for different floors. Nothing exceptional at all. If there is anything exceptional it's the staff. They go beyond duty to service each and every request and are ever smiling. But the property is totally not worth if you are traveling from maharashtra or any other side except north side like Delhi where it wud be near to reach. We travelled all the way from pune and did not find it worth At all.

We had an amazing stay at Westin. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms were excellent, and restaurant while expensive was still great. There are no other food options nearby, so restaurants at the resort are the only option.

We booked this property for a corporate event for 2 days. We had the most pathetic experience, right from beginning it never felt we are in Westin. Banquet staff was rude and uncooperative specially Saurabh & Rahul. I would recommend not to plan any event in this property. Their responses are vague and despite having mail confirmation on some of the things they make you feel that they are doing a favor on us. Never seen such hospitality in my career. On the contrary, Shubham on front desk and Pankaj (Chef) we're very cooperative and did a fantastic job. All and all avoid any kind of event here (until they plan to change some of their banquet staff).

We went to rishikesh westin and we have a luxury experience there we had a great time. The staff was really nice and one person I would like to definitely mention, and that is Mr. Bishal, who is a lifeguard and a coach at the swimming pool area. He literally helped us a lot in, getting very fine pictures done and held us in swimming as well. Mr. Bishal helped us in having a look of the entire property. He showed us all the levels, restaurants, and finally with great pictures.

Westin Resort & Spa is a new hotel in this region and it was very apparent right from the time we set our foot in. We noticed the tastefully done interiors with a generous use of taupe paired with beige and cream. Very aesthetic and pleasant in all sections of the hotel. Infinity pool is to die for and for those who need warm waters tickling them there is a friendly temperature controlled jacuzzi right next to it. We found limited things to do in Rishikesh and it was quite crowded too, so we spent most of our time in the hotel. There are some nice options for local walks and treks if someone wants to explore. The rooms are very classy, the bathrooms a little European in styling (which some may find odd). Rooms have balconies with an open view which makes for a nice place to be in the mornings with your cup of tea. They organize high tea in the evenings on the eleventh floor with music and snacks. Food in this place is exceptional with well curated menus, artistically presented dishes, talented chefs producing world class dishes. We recommend dining at Toya for Sushi and Thai and one should not miss out the regional thali served at Akasa (you need to tell them a few hours in advance. This is super fresh) The people here make your experience go up several notches. We met Prem who was outstanding in his reception and given that he is from this region had a lot to tell us about it. At the Akasa restaurant, we were guided by ***si and Su*** at every meal with their warm, cheerful smiles. At Toya, Rita and Shija were always quick to recommend the right dishes and help customize our meals. On our last night, we were stunned by the quality of sushi that was on offer. Chef Pankaj can beat the best Japanese chefs. We strongly recommend trying sushi at Toya and especiallly the Thai sweet rice desert. Almost magical. But the sweetest part of that experience was chatting with Priyanka from our very own Amchi Mumbai. She and her team made that meal memorable. Some more notable names. Jyoti at the gym was super helpful and conducted a personal pilates session. Very rarely have I seen someone at the gym so enthusiastic and encouraging. Way to go girl !!! She also conducts the aqua zumba activities which is fun. And then Rohit at the travel desk who worked out a nice itinerary for us in Rishikesh and was constantly guiding us through all days. Chef Ankit at Akasa who made the best linguini we have ever tasted (was in Italy 2 months ago and nothing there came close). Will need to call out Executive Chef Ashish Kandwal who clearly has a big role to play in the quality of the food that is on offer. This *** has been to 10+ countries and the experience shows. The people here make this place and the young energy in the team makes all the difference. Please do visit. You will not be disappointed.
